Rice With Spinach Sauce 😋

    What is Sunday without Sunday rice? This Sunday I didn't feel like eating the usual rice and just stew; I decided to make spinach sauce instead. So let's get to work.

    Ingredients
    4 cups of rice
    A bunch of spinach (200g)
    1 medium onion
    1 clove of garlic
    560 g of medium-sized tomatoes
    30 g of fresh pepper
    Small clove of ginger (of about 6 grams)
    ½ teaspoon of thyme
    ½ teaspoon of turmeric
    ½ cup of groundnut oil
    Salt to taste

    Preparation
    Firstly, I rinsed the four cups of rice, then put it into the pot and added a little salt to taste, then I allowed it to cook.

    While the rice was on fire, I rinsed my tomatoes, pepper, garlic, and ginger and put them in the blender to blend into a paste.

    Then I placed my pot on medium heat, poured in oil, and when it was hot, I added my chopped onion and allowed it to soften for about 2 minutes.

    Add the blended ingredient and allow it to cook for about 3 minutes while stirring constantly.

    I added my turmeric, thyme, and salt, then stirred well to combine.

    Then I hurriedly washed and chopped my spinach.

    I added the chopped spinach leaves into the pot, stirred well, and allowed it to cook for about 3-4 minutes.

    After that removed from heat and food is ready
