Feliz miércoles para todos mis queridos Hivers, hoy paso a saludarlos con mucho cariño y a mostrarles una pieza que recientemente hicimos mi hija Jeraldine y yo. Fue un encargo de una de nuestra clienta especial, ya les he hablado bastante de ella.

Carolina nos manifestó que la braga que serviría de referencia había sido un obsequio de una amiga y nos contó con mucho entusiasmo lo cómoda que era. Tanto así que pidió hacer otra pero en un modelo diferente en la parte de arriba.

Para esta braga se compró metro y medio de tela bervely y 30 centímetros de tela lycra para hacer los detalles de la manga, la pretina, el cuello y vista del bolsillo, entre otros.

Como les mencionaba ella quería que fuera diferente, por eso nos trajo como referencia una franela que se ajustaba bien a sus medidas y la parte de abajo la hicimos totalmente igual a la braga que nos trajo para guiarnos.

Procedimos primeramente a cortar la bermuda, es importante destacar que a esta se le hicieron bolsillos delanteros y como verán los hicimos resaltar con el color morado de la de la tela lycra.

Posterior a esto se realizó el basteado de costumbre para que al momento de pasar por la máquina de coser, sea mucho más práctico. Procedimos a cortar la pretina de 48 cm al doble de la tela de ancho y de 8 cm de alto, según la medida que refería la pieza modelo.

Con la franela procedí a hacer los cortes tanto el delantero como el trasero y se le hizo la vista que tiene al frente igualmente en la parte de atrás . A pesar de que la tela beverly estira, decidimos hacer el cuello de forma separada es decir tanto la parte de adelante como la parte de atrás iban unidas todas por el vivo que se hizo con la tela morada, para que al momento de subírsela por la parte de abajo no hubiera ningún inconveniente, y poder ajustar el cuello con un lazo.

La verdad era una pieza nueva para nosotras, nunca habíamos hecho una braga, sin embargo, fue una excelente experiencia y un nuevo reto para el dúo de las costuras, tratamos de hacer el trabajo con sumo cuidado y una vez terminado nos alegró mucho ver el resultado final, pues siempre hay el temor de no hacerlo bien.
The truth was a new piece for us, we had never made a panty, however, it was an excellent experience and a new challenge for the sewing duo, we tried to do the work with great care and once finished we were very happy to see the final result, because there is always the fear of not doing it right.
Ya después le seguiremos mostrando otras prendas que hicimos a petición de Carolina. El día Jueves estaremos entregando todo, lavado y planchado como siempre nos gusta hacer. Es un trabajo adicional que no todas las costureras hacen pero ha sido un sello personalizado de nuestro trabajo.
Later we will continue showing you other garments that we made at Carolina's request. On Thursday we will be delivering everything, washed and ironed as we always like to do. It is an additional work that not all seamstresses do but it has been a personalized stamp of our work.
