¿Suena algo semejante
en tu adentro?
¿Hay resonancias
entre tú y yo,
entre tus palabras
y mis silencios?
¿Cómo puedo hablar
en ti o para ti
desde el interregno
de lo desconocido,
desde el umbral
de lo incierto?
Difícil arte este,
el de revelar el no ser
por las palabras,
cuando muchas veces
no las poseemos,
y ni ellas a nosotros.
Quizás te hablen
en una lengua secreta,
que tú traducirás
a tus silencios.
On the threshold of the word (poetic exercise)
Does something similar sound
inside you?
Are there resonances
between you and me,
between your words
and my silences?
How can I speak
in you or to you
from the interregnum
of the unknown,
from the threshold
of the uncertain?
This is a difficult art,
that of revealing the non-being
through words,
when many times
we do not possess them,
and neither do they speak to us.
Perhaps they speak to you
in a secret language
which you will translate
into your silences.
