Este fin de semana se está llevando a cabo el Fit Challenge, una competencia para mujeres y hombres en la especialidad de Powerlifting o Levantamiento de Potencia, que incluye los 3 principales movimientos: Sentadilla Libre, Press de banca y Peso muerto convencional, y para esta competencia realizaron ciertas variaciones en las reglas. Nos mediremos en los dos días que dura el evento, en las instalaciones del prestigioso Hotel Palma Real de Maturín.
Mi participación no podía ser individual, y necesité estar dentro de los atletas de un gimnasio a representar, tal como le pasó a Daniel Larusso en Karate Kid 😂😂😂😂 y representé al Strong Physical Center.
El día viernes nos entregaron los uniformes, que fueron un top y una camisa oversize, negras con el nombre del gym y la palabra Atleta en la espalda. Debimos mantener el color negro en los short y calzado, todo se veía realmente bello. Compré unas vendas para mis rodillas y coincidieron con los colores del uniforme.
En su mayoría las personas que competimos, coachs y jueces, ya los conocía de otros eventos, por eso es bueno salir y participar, no quedarnos solo en el gym. Es importante pertenecer activamente en la Comunidad Deportiva de tu ciudad o estado.
Los implementos necesarios como racks, pesas, discos, barras, estación de hidratación, etc. todo fue muy profesional y de calidad. Como saben mi experiencia deportiva y la preparación que realizo es de Halterofilia y aunque tiene algunas similitudes, ciertamente tiene algunas desventajas para mí, que les haré un post especial sobre esto. Pero para mí lo importante era la experiencia y el conocimiento, para crecer como atleta y entrenadora, aunque no sea mi disciplina como tal.

On Friday we were given our uniforms, which were a black oversize top and shirt with the name of the gym and the word Atleta on the back. We had to keep the color black on the shorts and shoes, everything looked really nice. I bought some bandages for my knees and they matched the colors of the uniform.
Most of the people who competed, coaches and judges, I already knew from other events, so it's good to get out and participate, not just stay in the gym. It is important to be an active member of the sports community in your city or state.
The necessary implements such as racks, weights, discs, bars, hydration station, etc. everything was very professional and quality. As you know my sports experience and the preparation I do is Weightlifting and although it has some similarities, it certainly has some disadvantages for me, which I will make a special post about this. But for me the important thing was the experience and knowledge, to grow as an athlete and trainer, although it is not my discipline as such.
