    Nigeria is a beautiful country , rich in culture, art and natural beauty. Nigeria is a unique country that offers great experiences for visitors to explore and enjoy. One of the greatest feature of Nigerians is that we are known for our openness and hospitality, thereby making our visitors both home and abroad feel welcome and at home wherever they go in the country. Again, Nigeria has over 200 ethnic groups that has their own unique style in different aspects. for instance, the Yoruba speak a different language from the Ibos and even the hausas. The mode of dressing is also peculiar to each ethnic groups.

    Speaking about food, my country 8s blessed with several cuisine that are healthy because they are naturally made, with natural ingredients and spices. The Nigerian delicacies are always full of flavor and are diverse, with a wide range of delicious dishes garnished with local ingredients; we have the pounded yam, Amala, semo, akara and so on. In addition, to Nigeria's locally made delicious dishes,we also have the fashion industry which is growing daily into a vibrant and dynamic system, with the infusion of traditional styles with contemporary trends to create unique and colorful designs that reflect the country's rich cultural heritage. In view of this, with how rich our fashion and music are, it is been globally recognized and applauded all over the world.

    In view of this, there are five places I would love to visit and enjoy the scenery and view of natural habitats and historical sites;

    Olumo Rock

    Olumo rock in Abeokuta, Ogun state Nigeria is a historic landmark with tall rocks, caves and breathtaking views, symbolizing the strength of the community people during intertribal wars. Although I have been to this location before but I would want to explore it again. It wasn't an easy ordeal climbing those rocks to the highest point, it was smooth and at some point it was rough. But I managed to get to the top with my other colleagues. It was a really beautiful view from the top as you could see the entire community from up there with their brown rooftops. I would love to do this again.

    Lekki Conservation Centre

    The Lekki conservation center in Lagos is one I have never been to but have seen photos and videos of people who tour the place. It a nature reserve where there is something called the canopy walkway,a long bright offering panoramic views of the surrounding area and the chance to see various species of plants and animals on the side. The pictures I have seen so far has proven that the place will be a fun place to visit and relax wether individually or with friends.

    Osun-Osogbo Sacred shrine

    The Osun-Osogbo sacred shrines are located in Osun State. It's one place I plan to visit as it is packed with historical sites , from what I heard and seen in pictures, it is a sacred forest solely dedicated to the Yoruba goddess of fertility and is dotted with shrines and sculptures. There are lots of significant sculptures,about 40 shrines erected to worship the deities in the place made with red clay.

    Nike Art Gallery

    The Nike Art gallery is located in Lagos state. The gallery is owned by the magnificent Nike Davies-Okundaye, a woman and a renowned Nigerian artist and textile designer who is known for her promotion of Nigerian art and culture. The gallery practically showcases Nigerian art and culture. Also there are artworks by other renowned Nigerian artists thereby using her platform in providing insights into the country's vibrant artistic scene, also in the gallery we can find a range of artworks including paintings, sculptures, textiles, and more. I have seen picture as well and it all beautiful and would love to visit the place one day.

    Slave Trade Relics

    The slave trade relics in Badagry, Lagos State, is definitely one place to visit. Back then during the slave trade era,Badagry was known to be a major port for the transatlantic slave trade. This is why the place has so much historical evidence of what transpired then. It has become a space where visitors can explore sites physically that we read in books like the Slave Port, Seriki Faremi Williams Abass Brazillian Baracoon Museum, and the first story building in Nigeria. I have always wanted to visit Badagry so it would be fun.

    These are some of the places I would love to visit in my country Nigeria. Although I also have eyes for the international tourist sites but hopefully one day I would achieve them .
