My corruption

This was my new job, and I was happy with it. I have been searching for this post for many years. I was a punctual and hardworking employee. The good thing was that it was not very far from my home. It only took a few minutes to get to work and get back home after work. I was the junior chef. After the restaurant closed, I had to check the pantry and write down the ingredients needed for the next day. One day after finishing my work, I was walking back home. The weather was cloudy, and a rainstorm was predicted. Today I was walking home from another way, and on the way I saw a small puppy. It looked very weak and hungry, and beside it lay a dog that seemed to be its mother and sick. I didn't have anything with me at that time to feed them. Now, every day after work, I would keep some leftover chicken with me and give it to them while going back home. The puppy used to wait every day, and it wagged its tail with happiness when he saw me coming and knew I had brought him something to eat. This was my little corruption, as we were not allowed to take leftovers with us, but I did it to feed the hungry puppy and its mother.
