in last bull market Ethereum and BSC onchain (DeFi) did so well and so many coins or memes printed new millionaires at that time and now in this bull run it's going to be Solana or base leading the onchain market.
My past relationship with DeFi is much better than on CEX. I can play with those shitcoins on chain better and there's high Risk and reward while the coins on major exchanges are safe but high risk, less reward and more time for someone with a peanut size portfolio.
The people Choice: ETH vs SOL for DeFi
Ethereum fee's are way too expensive already with this rise in price and network activity.. fee's is always skyrocketing costing more than $50, $100 or even worse to make a transaction.
Meanwhile Solana doesn't cost more than $0.1 and it's much cheap compared to Ethereum.
In DeFi people prefer to buy coins with "$20, $30, $100" only whales go with big size while retailers take less risk and retailers don't want to pay $100 in gas fee to buy $20 worth of coin.
This is why in this bull run Solana is the place where all these retailers are actively trying luck in DeFi and will be more crowded in the peak days of bull run, can expect new millionaires being made on solana chain rather than ethereum.
There's big change in the volume BNB is leading and Ethereum as well as Solana.. in my opinion this is old retailers coming back to bnb and the sooner they get to know about Solana tables will be turned real quick and that's when it'll be making new highs.
Solana MemeCoins Craze: How long before next 100x coin?
I stepped in Solana DeFi before this hype, bonk and WIF weren't in trending like nowadays and I had a bag of it too.
I fumbled Bonk, I fumbled Wif again at around $0.4 I said now is the time to sell and move on but wif just went to $2 and I'm pissed off at myself missing out a 100x just like that.
There's a new opportunity everyday and I'm trying to get involved deeply in the ecosystem to find next 100x kind of memecoins early.
To find that You need to:
- Keep an eye on Dex screener
- find some discord or TG where people talk about Solana and DeFi coins
- find a memecoin with great following under Solana influencers comment.
This is the alpha in DeFi on every chain it works..
One thing I've learnt so far from my journey is keep on flipping coins from one to another except the one's that have huge following and trend is growing on the twitter that's the kind of coin to take risk for reward.
When you hold a memecoin and the trend decline, you end up becoming others exit liquidity and it's over unless the trend picks up and people switch their gears again.
Go Degen with no fear of losing
The only strategy you need is take about $10 or even $5 and be a real degen and pick one good coin early before others and it could become life changing.
It could be us, we just need to keep trying and hopefully when the easy mode of bull run will come we'll be good enough to pull something like these guys.
Wrapping Up..
In the end ethereum is still there, DeFi space as a whole on most chains is coming to live again and we might see DeFi summer before the Altcoins season.
