Description from Strava:
It has been raining here again, but had stopped by the time I headed out. It is not cold though and I found that I was too warm in my coat when I went to the office yesterday.
I was doing my usual morning loop. As I ran up the hill that was covered in leaves I went through some clouds of little bugs. They do not bite, but I may have inhaled some. The graffitied shed is half way up there and I am not sure what is in there. It may be something electrical. Strava shows that I took the picture somewhere else, but it obviously knew where I was as it tracked the route okay.
I saw the usual squirrels, but also glimpsed a green woodpecker flying past. I usually just hear those.
My running is nothing spectacular at the moment, but I keep plodding on. I saw a few other runners out there, but I ran alone, as usual. I had my podcasts in my bone conduction headphones with some Richard Herring and a bit of Late Night Linux.
The Strava app has been giving me more 'AI' insights. It will be interesting to see if it shows when I perform worse or if it is meant to always be positive.
Run free!
I will see if parkrun is on this week. My other half has been doing a running bootcamp, so I hope she will come along too. It is likely to be a bit muddy, but should be drying out a bit. Some parts stay soft all winter.
