This week, when hanging out with friends, I noticed a lot of restaurants and malls starting to roll out Mother's Day promotions. In the department stores, you can snag some decent discounts just by purchasing items they're promoting, mostly stuff aimed at women like clothes, perfumes, and skincare products. There are also plenty of both Western and Asian-style restaurants offering Mother's Day specials. Since Mother's Day is all about family get-togethers, they're all coming up with tempting deals like exclusive set menus and discounts. Personally, I prefer restaurants that serve shared dishes, you know, those places with like a set menu for ten people. That way, you don't have to worry about what to order or how much it'll cost, and you can get to enjoy some fancier, tastier dishes without breaking the bank.
Bitcoin finally underwent its fourth halving. Going by historical data, Bitcoin tends to shoot up significantly after each halving. Of course, past performance doesn't guarantee future results, but people are expecting a big surge ahead. Recently, the market has been on a downward trend after hitting some highs, and now most folks are still playing the waiting game. I've bought some Hive, but not a whole lot, because there's still a chance it might keep dropping. As for various Hive Game assets, I'm holding off on buying more. Besides being pessimistic about the market, quite a few Hive Games have either stopped or partially stopped operating, like STARDOM PLAY. The team announced they're taking a break for a few months to study their economic and operational models.
