Months ago, I was sharing with you here A HAN JIN! It’s like dining in China but right in Chiang Mai Thailand!
One of the most authentic Chinese cuisine in Chiang Mai and really as mentioned,
it’s like you dine in China but right in Chiang Mai.
It’s that good and the atmosphere and everything was just on point!
Somehow, the owner got problems with the visa
(Yes, because it’s so damn complicated somehow to stay, live, and work here in Thailand)
and I think he either got deported or just gone for good.
New management took place and made the place hella clean compared to before.
It’s the level of cleanliness we’re not used to.
The food, they tried to replicate what’s there before.
The look, the size a bit smaller, the food…
We ordered a few things we used to order when the original A Han Jin was there.
Stir fried fries… (I know, who would have thought of that!)
Beef stir fried with green beans and some more fries. (I know right!)
Stir fried eggplants with ground pork.
Stir fried morning glory.
Fried chicken and chili. Loads of chili.
Of course, a few cups of rice 😃
Honest opinion, somehow, even though it looks almost the same with a bit smaller portion,
The taste was still not right compared to the last one.
Well, it’s not as oily #lol
and it just lacks of something I can’t tell what exactly.
They changed the chef and the whole management team obviously.
We went there months ago and still haven’t been back since.
I think it’s time though to give them another chance.
Because we haven’t found any places that serve as good Chinese food as that one (the previous one)
It’s a hidden little place somewhere you would never be able to find.
I would say it’s a hidden gem if they can keep the deliciousness as before.
but let’s find out once more these next few days and I will give you an update here!
