We should all know this by now but maybe not everyone so I want to talk about this one more time. Thesame kind of clothes do not fit for every season. Ever since I was a teenager I have learnt not to wear dark colors in a hot summer seasons 🌞. They absorb alot of heat and make us uncomfortable.

Another thing is not to wear very thick clothes or ones that covers some parts of our bodies especially for people that sweat alot.

You should equally put on clothes that can take in enough air for proper ventilation. That is the nature of fabrics to chose for this outfit is important. Some fabrics types are very uncomfortable in summer.

When this season came around I have been thinking of various ideas to make summer clothes.
The first one I made here happen to be a Valentine gift for my friend. After gifting her such and seeing how comfortable it feels I decided to make one more but in another fashion.

We can decide to sew some summer outfits with sleeves and a bit of length for outdoor functions (in an office setting) and others for indoor function.

The one I made for my friend can be worn both for beach party/outing to enjoying an evening breeze and it can be worn in the house at bed time.

I decided to make this fashionable one in a sense that if you feel uncomfortable wearing a sleeves top like this first one this one will be just perfect for you.

Although the length is short and it exposed the naval for those who do not care.
Any bum short, pant or comfortable wrap skirt can go with any of these.

This one is a ready made one that came with a wrap skirts.

    Cutting and sewing.

Making this is very simple and it gives one the privilege to utilize all of those scrap fabrics because you don't need a lot of fabrics to sew this.

Make a straight rectangle cut of your chest and waist measurement after folding the fabrics into two for both front and back piece

Make some neat stiches for all the hemming and join front and back piece.

The front piece will be cut into two and joined inwards so that we can have a seam allowance in the front piece

The seam allowance is turned in neatly. Where I now sewed and attach a rope to pull the front piece together into a style.

Next were some straight sleeve added to the armhole part of each arm and Just like that we are done
