The Country of Ethiopia has a rich history

    Greetings, everyone!

According to the contest question, I have decided to write about this country, Ethiopia. This country is not my residence or origin, nor have I visited this place before, but I am going to share my little knowledge about this country. Thank GOD, my daddy traveled to this country for missionary work two years ago and came back and shared noble things about this country, which I was privileged to hear from his experience. This is me sharing what I have learned, heard, and researched about this country and the things that stood out for me.

However, Ethiopia is a country located in East Africa, which shares boundaries with Eritrea, Somalia, Kenya, South Sudan, and Sudan. The country of Ethiopia has a rich history and its capital is Addis Ababa. It's capital used to intrigue me because of the way I used to pronounce it.

Nevertheless, Ethiopia is a special country for many reasons and for some people. It has its unique features and it has the oldest history in the world. One thing that really stood out for me is the Bible and religious standards or practices in this country with the oldest Christian communities. In ancient, Ethiopia existed, and it is still alive, though many Ethiopians have died, probably living behind a significant legacy that is still having an impact today, especially in religious practices. And I'm very happy that populated Christians over there are still believing in the love of God and holding onto their Faith, and some Muslims over there are still holding on to their practices just like we have in Nigeria.

As I said earlier, my father traveled to Addis Ababa for missionary work, and he succeeded in going and coming back. He met Christians from different countries who were zealous about spreading the gospel of Christ. He actually showed me the picture of all the people. The funny part he shared with me was throughout his stay in the country, he ate fresh leaves, tea, and light dishes like their local foods. When he came he slimmed down because of the stress and the food over there. In my mind, I was like, I can't relocate to that country because of their food, but I could travel there for a mission just like my dad did. The fact is that people enjoy their lives there, and they like it the way they are because that's their culture. I would like to travel around the globe and have a taste of their meals, religion, culture, and other unique features that Identifies them or define their uniqueness.

However, another thing that stood out for me is their language. In every country and state, there must be uniqueness in their languages. They have their ethnic groups just like we have in Nigeria. Of all their uniqueness, I can't relocate to Ethiopia because it will take me time before I can relate and have an understanding of their ways of life. I like eating good meals and what if I can't eat their meal or I can eat but I'm feeling that sense of satisfaction. It will be long before my body adapts to it.

Therefore, Ethiopia is rich, but I can make a tour and return not for everlasting dwelling. If it is a be a place I can be, it's possible to relocate.
