Saludos cordiales amigos de foodies bee hive. Tuve la oportunidad de ir a un lugar llamado La Sazón de Mary ubicado en la Avenida principal de Cantarrana, ya que tocó quedarme corrido en el trabajo y no lleve almuerzo, como queda relativamente cerca de mi lugar de trabajo mi esposo me sugirió ir y probar las ricas sopas de las que tanto nos habían hablado nuestros compañeros de trabajo.

I had the opportunity to go to a place called La Sazón de Mary located on the main avenue of Cantarrana, since I had to stay at work and did not bring lunch, as it is relatively close to my workplace my husband suggested me to go and try the delicious soups that our coworkers had told us so much about.
Llegamos a eso de las 12:15 y el lugar en realidad no tiene una estructura de bloques, es más tipo una ranchería como lo conocen acá, donde el techo donde se ubican las mesas es de palmeras secas. Nos sentamos en una mesa en el centro y en cuestión de minutos todas estaban ocupadas. Para ese día ofrecían sopa de: pescado, lagarto con costilla, minestrone de pollo y huesito ahumado y la típica sopa de pollo, además de ofrecer platos secos que se basaban en arroz, pollo frito y ensalada cocida.
We arrived at about 12:15 and the place doesn't really have a block structure, it's more like a ranchería as they know it here, where the roof where the tables are located is made of dry palm trees. We sat at a table in the center and within minutes they were all occupied. For that day they were offering fish soup, lizard with ribs, chicken minestrone and smoked bone, and the typical chicken soup, as well as dry dishes based on rice, fried chicken and cooked salad.
Nosotros queríamos sopa, así que pedimos la de Minestrone con huesito ahumado y pollo, la pequeña tenía un costo de 2.5 $ y la grande 3.5 $, pedí la pequeña la cual estaba muy nutrida en proteína y verduras además de que el sabor era exquisito, de las mejores sopas que he probado. Mi esposo pidió la grande y debo decir que lucho para terminarla porque la cantidad es sustanciosa. Por otro lado, la atención fue aceptable, las muchachas muy respetuosas y aunque por ser un lugar prácticamente al aire libre y el calorcito de la ciudad lo sentimos un poco, el disfrutar de tan agradable comida compensó todo.
We wanted soup, so we ordered the Minestrone soup with smoked bone and chicken, the small one had a cost of 2.5 $ and the big one 3.5 $, I ordered the small one which was very nutritious in protein and vegetables plus the taste was exquisite, one of the best soups I have ever tasted. My husband ordered the large one and I must say that he struggled to finish it because the quantity is substantial. On the other hand, the service was acceptable, the girls were very respectful and although being a place practically outdoors and the heat of the city we felt it a little, enjoying such a nice meal compensated everything.
En su mayoría los emprendimientos llevan su tiempo en consolidarse para tener el éxito que merecen y si lo que ofrecen es de calidad en poco tiempo pueden mejorar en planta física y en productos para ofrecer y estoy segura de que la Sazón de Mary tendrá mucho éxito porque tienen lo que se necesita en este tipo de emprendimiento, Amor por lo que hacen y por eso le queda tan delicioso lo que preparan. Most ventures take time to consolidate to have the success they deserve and if what they offer is of quality in a short time they can improve in physical plant and products to offer and I am sure that La Sazón de Mary will be very successful because they have what is needed in this type of venture, love for what they do and that is why what they prepare is so delicious.
