I have a unique experience with a buyer recently, and lucky for me that I made the transaction in the e-commerce so that the chance of me getting scammed is a little bit smaller, although the issue has not been resolved just yet.
It was when I want to sell an electronic item, the buyer comein the last minute of the deal, and wanted to give me a lot more than the other wanted to buy the item. The item is actually not a working item, which I already mentioned very clearly about that, and during the initial deal, the buyer said he understood it, and only wanted the spare part in that particular electronic item since it is quite hard to get the spare part out there.
And the deal was that, it was a done deal, and there should be no complaints, no refunds, or return items since everything has been clearly stated when I wanted to sell the item. All good, until the item arrives in the buyer's hands through courier. When the item arrived, he suddenly complained, and want to pay me half of the deal price, he insisted that I should take his offer if I want the money to be release fast with with e-commerce side.
Lucky that I have all the chat about the deal in my hand, so that I can use it as evidence. Now the issue is still ongoing, eventough I am not sure what will be the result, but at least I know that people are not trustworthy, and if you want to trade second hand item, it is better to record everything, listed every minus you have on th item. at least you have some protection against this kind of scumbag. it is fun to see the progress, I also want to know how will the platform handle this kind of issue in the future.
