Hello friends. I hope your weekend was a wonderful one.
For me it was full of colors. Yesterday I had the opportunity to see the carnivals of Margarita Island. It was my first time and everything was really beautiful. The floats were beautiful. And the participants of the flamingo group were amazing.
It had been like a thousand years since I had been to this kind of presentations. As you may know, carnivals are a festivity in Venezuela and in some other Latin American countries like Brazil.
Since I was spending more days than planned on the island, my friend Irene took me to see this parade where there were Disney princesses and even a band.
The carnival queen of each town is also chosen and they are presented on a typical float that represents the island itself. It is characteristic that candies are thrown to the public as the floats and participants go through the avenue. I had the opportunity to catch some of them.
Without a doubt, an unforgettable experience this weekend, and creating new memories with my friend Irene and her baby.
