Introduction

Hello! How are you? I'm Enmanuel, and today I wanted to share one of the things I do in my daily life—dancing. In this post, I’m dancing salsa in the Los Angeles style, and I hope you enjoy it! At the end of the post, you’ll find a link to my Instagram where you can watch the video.

About the class

Apologies for the quality, haha! This was an intermediate-level class, and we were dancing to one of salsa's fast-paced songs. I hesitated a bit before dancing to this one, but in the end, I decided to go for it.

The sequence was intermediate level. Before the music started, the instructor showed us several moves to form a routine. In total, there were 8 different steps, and they were all great!

When you dance to a song that fast, you have to tighten up your whole body, especially with the turns. The song we used was “Aguanile” by Marc Anthony, and I enjoyed it more than you can imagine!

My friend next to me was having fun watching my crazy moves, haha, while we waited for the instructor to say "NOW" to start the routine. I just went with whatever came to mind at the moment to interpret the music.

Since I’ve listened to this song so many times, I used my imagination to pull off any move from the two years I've been practicing salsa. I also practice bachata, merengue, cha-cha, and pachanga, though I only practice merengue, cha-cha, and pachanga occasionally.

Choreography

If you've made it this far, I imagine you at least want to know what the routine was! In terms of coordinates, you walk from 1 to 7, do a Suzie Q, then move into an angled Suzie Q. Turn left diagonally, transition into mambo, then a move I know as reggaeton, followed by a turn to the right, finishing the reggaeton with a complete lateral spin.

Introducción

Hola, ¿cómo estás? Yo soy Enmanuel y quería hoy compartirles una de las cosas que hago en mi día a día, que es bailar. En este post bailo salsa al estilo Los Ángeles, espero lo disfruten. Al final del post está el enlace con mi Instagram para ver el video.

Sobre la clase

Disculpen la calidad jajaja. El nivel de esa clase es intermedio y estábamos bailando una de las canciones rápidas que tiene la salsa. Yo me lo pensé dos veces antes de bailar esa canción, pero al final sí quise.

La secuencia era de nivel intermedio. Antes de empezar la música, el profe nos enseñó varios pasos para hacer una secuencia. En total serían 8 pasos diferentes, muy buenos esos pasos.

Uno tiene que apretar todo el cuerpo cuando baila una canción tan rápida, y de paso con giros. La canción utilizada es "Aguanile" de Marc Anthony. La verdad es que esta canción me la gocé como no se lo pueden imaginar.

Mi amiga de al lado gozándose mis pasos locos jajaja, mientras esperaba que el profe dijera AHORA para comenzar la secuencia. Yo hice todo lo que pensaba en el momento para interpretar.

Como yo me conozco la canción ya de tanto escucharla, utilizaba mi imaginación para sacar cualquier paso de todos los 2 años que llevo practicando salsa. También practico bachata, merengue, chachachá, pachanga, pero el merengue, el chachachá y la pachanga los practico solo a veces.

Coreografia

Ya si estás aquí, me imagino que por lo menos quieres saber cuál es la secuencia. En tiempo de coordenadas, caminas del 1 al 7, haces un Suzie Q para después hacer un ángulo Suzie Q. Giro a la izquierda en diagonal, pasas a mambo y después a un paso que conozco como reguetón, para hacer un giro a la derecha terminando el reguetón y giro completo en lateral.

Bueno, eso sería todo, espero que les guste para seguir subiendo más de lo que hago cada día. También hago mortales a un nivel básico, si alguien quiere un video o post de fotos de acrobacias, salgo a hacerlo jajajaja, si no, no jajajaja.
