It is not about the personal life that we are exposing into the social media, but the most risky being exposing our personal information. Name, address, personal details are all available over the internet. This makes our life throw open at the hands of the scamster and hackers. Directly or indirectly, the data's are available over the internet. Either it be through government or through own mistakes. We often share details to access any website or a cess any informstion. When data's are leaked through us, we can not do anything, but when those data get leaked through government , we start raising question over government functionality.

Many people are not aware that all our information are available to the government. To prove the authenticity of our citizenship, we our self provide our details to the government agencies. Even for all other government paper or documentation we share our data and each description with the government. However, the government can only access personal data in exceptional situations, such as threats to national security, pandemics, or natural disasters. There is a proposed data protection law thT will prevent the government from violating the privacy of its citizens in general. In India, the government will not be able to violate the privacy of citizens under the draft Personal Data Protection Bill (PDPB) as it will get access to personal data only in exceptional circumstances like national security, pandemic and natural disasters,

Looking at the risk factor, it is important that our data should be private because it protects our personal information from unauthorized access and malicious use. Personal data includes names, photos, email addresses, bank account details, IP addresses, and biometric information. We might have noticed that whenever we access or search any topics over browser, the same lead will start flashing whenever we access the browser. This is a great example of our exposing to unknown world. Preventing fraud and various cybercrimes, criminal minded can use our personal data to defraud or harass us. Here are some of the factor that makes it important for data privacy.

    • Protecting our identity : Personal information is the gateway to our financial institutions, medical records, credit score, and other important personal records.

    • Trust Establishment : Data privacy is crucial for establishing trust between individuals and organizations.

    • Regulatory compliance : Data protection regulations govern how certain data types are collected, transmitted, and used.

All the government and various ages ies working for the government have complete access to various detail of Sach employee. However they are not supposed to be public. So far, we did not seen any instances where government made such details public. This made us to belive on the government system. They are not thrown open easily for softer access.

    Peace!!
