El hermoso y colorido Pueblito Paisa en Medellín [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! Además de Provenza, otro lugar que no pueden dejar de visitar si van a a Medellín en Colombia es el Pueblito Paisa, ubicado en la cima del Cerro Nutibara y es un lugar pequeño pero hermoso que te va a encantar por su arquitectura colonial y pintoresca o por las tiendas o casas de colores vivos, además podrás disfrutar de una vista increíble a Medellín y las montañas, de la música, la naturaleza y por supuesto también la gastronomía paisa ya que hay una zona de comida.

Hello everyone! Besides Provenza, another place you can not miss if you go to Medellin in Colombia is the Pueblito Paisa, located at the top of Cerro Nutibara and is a small but beautiful place that you will love for its colonial architecture and picturesque or stores or colorful houses, you can also enjoy an incredible view of Medellin and the mountains, music, nature and of course also the paisa gastronomy as there is a food court.

Mi esposo, Olivia y yo llegamos hasta allí en Uber, más tarde nos alcanzaron mi mamá y mis amigas en un taxi por lo que estas son las formas que recomiendo de llegar hasta allí y sinceramente no sé si de otra forma es posible ir ahí. Lo primero que vimos fue una entrada con el nombre de Medellín y luego las pequeñas casas de colores vivos que les mencioné antes, allí podrán comprar hermosas artesanías, recuerdos, franelas, bolsos, accesorios, helados o comida, en realidad un montón de cosas.

My husband, Olivia and I got there by Uber, later my mom and my friends caught up with us in a cab so these are the ways I recommend to get there and I honestly don't know if any other way is possible to go there. The first thing we saw was an entrance with the name of Medellin and then the small houses of bright colors that I mentioned before, there you can buy beautiful handicrafts, souvenirs, flannels, bags, accessories, ice cream or food, actually a lot of things.

Este día había un sol fuerte, pero en el Pueblito Paisa hay lugares donde te puedes sentar a refrescar mientras observas la naturaleza y tomas un delicioso jugo de caña o también una cerveza en un restaurante como lo hicimos mi esposo y yo jajaja, además es genial para ir con niños, Olivia estaba muy feliz caminando por allí y observando todo y algo que llama mucho la atención de este lugar es la escultura del Cacique Nutibara de José Horacio Betancur, aunque en realidad hay un montón de sitios donde te puedes hacer unas fotos increíbles.

This day there was a strong sun, but in the Pueblito Paisa there are places where you can sit and cool off while watching nature and take a delicious cane juice or a beer in a restaurant as my husband and I did hahaha, it is also great to go with children, Olivia was very happy walking around and watching everything and something that draws much attention of this place is the sculpture of Cacique Nutibara by Jose Horacio Betancur, although there are actually a lot of places where you can take some amazing pictures.

Uno de esos lugares para hacer lindas fotos es la plaza con calle de piedras, una fuente y una iglesia (la cual estaba abierta por lo que tuvimos la oportunidad de entrar para fotografiar), aunque mi parte favorita creo que eran los balcones de las casas coloridas y las letras medianas con la palabra Medellín, y como olvidar los grupos que estaban tocando música y cantando canciones divertidas con la nacionalidad de las personas que visitaban el lugar.

One of those places to take nice pictures is the square with a stone street, a fountain and a church (which was open so we had the opportunity to enter to take pictures), although my favorite part I think were the balconies of the colorful houses and the medium size letters with the word Medellin, and how to forget the groups that were playing music and singing funny songs with the nationality of the people who visited the place.

También como les dije antes, aquí también pueden disfrutar de una buena comida o de la gastronomía paisa ya que hay una zona de comida que mi esposo y yo no visitamos porque teníamos planes de comer en otro lugar, pero si aprovechamos de tomar un jugo de caña y por supuesto la cerveza que tomamos con vista a la montaña. Yo les recomiendo mucho este lugar, que aunque se recorre rápido, es un paseo que van a disfrutar mucho especialmente si van en familia o con amigos aunque también solos.

Also as I said before, here you can also enjoy a good meal or paisa gastronomy since there is a food court that my husband and I did not visit because we had plans to eat elsewhere, but we did take the opportunity to have a cane juice and of course the beer we drank with a view of the mountain. I highly recommend this place, although it is a quick tour, it is a walk that you will enjoy a lot especially if you go with family or friends but also alone.

Luego llegó el momento de volver y mi esposo y yo decidimos bajar hasta la entrada caminando para disfrutar de la naturaleza un poco, de hecho hicimos una parada en un parque con sombra para prepararle un poco de leche a Olivia, así que disfrutamos cada momento allí y luego pedimos un Uber hasta el centro comercial el tesoro que se los mostraré en otro post donde fuimos a comer algo delicioso, por ahora espero que les hayan gustado estás fotos tanto como a nosotros.

Then it was time to go back and my husband and I decided to walk down to the entrance to enjoy nature a little bit, in fact we made a stop in a shady park to prepare some milk for Olivia, so we enjoyed every moment there and then we ordered an Uber to the treasure mall that I will show you in another post where we went to eat something delicious, for now I hope you liked these pictures as much as we did.
