I had been away for quite a long time now, sincerely, that wasn't planned but things happen. I'm back now and I want to try my best to be here to share as much as I can to all the die hard fans of artistic practices. I love you all! ♥️
Me being away for that long has also contributed quite well to the development of my artistic practice. Now I've confidence to do more works beyond my regular acrylic paintings. I now do Mixed Media Art which allows my to use some other unconventional materials to achieve almost the same thing I do achieve with acrylics.
The above piece shows a man drinking from a palm wine gourd. Conceptually, the piece of art is about the life of every man and those moments when they can't share their thoughts and worries with anyone simply because the society doesn't really care of the mental health of the male figure. In the case, for many men, drinking seems to be a short time escape.
