Journeys, interconnections, amazing stories, the perfect picture of a friendship
Hello friends from all over the world
It seems that even this weekend, one of the topics fits me like a glove, so I couldn't wait to take the time to share our life story, the main topic being a lifelong connection with some amazing people thousands of miles from home.
Bear with me as I tell you how things went down.
Travelling is our favourite and here I would like to add that besides travelling we have the opportunity to discover amazing places, we can also have the opportunity to discover sensational people.
So, half-heartedly, I have to admit that we are not such sociable people (let's not be weird, hehe) and here I am referring to the fact that we have a certain reluctance when it comes to socializing with people we don't know or are meeting for the first time.
Well, I won't keep you in suspense.
It all started in April 2021, it was a holiday we had been looking forward to for a long time, especially as we were at the start of the pandemic that swept the world and we didn't know if we would make it to Egypt or if the pandemic would keep us stuck at home.
Days felt like months and months felt like years, that's how I perceived the passage of time, but after a three and a half hour flight we were finally in Hurghada airport waiting for our transfer to the hotel.
Before going to Egypt, we contacted a local travel agency to get some offers for the activities we wanted to do there.
So the next day we were picked up from the hotel by a minivan in which there were other tourists, the final destination being the travel agency office.
Yes, here in the travel agency office we met our future friends with whom we formed a strong bond.
The first steps of this friendship were made by them (Oana and Ciprian), as I wrote before, we were not very sociable.
Following the discussions we chose to do some of the activities in Hurghada with them and so from a few words and a few hours spent with them we formed a strong friendship.
Just like in stories with happy endings, this has been the case with us since 2021 and until now we have continued to keep this friendship alive, moreover we have spent many unique moments in their company and yes, I can say that we have been close to them through thick and thin without exaggeration.
I think fate was such that we met them thousands of miles from home and remained friends and I can say there was a mutual attraction between us at first sight.
Dear visitors, this has been the story of a lasting bond and friendship.
