Yay! We're in the year 2025. Happy New Year to everyone here on the Hive Blockchain! It's great to crossover to another year and see y'all in it, and it's my prayer that we'll have reasons to celebrate throughout this year and beyond, both here on the Blockchain and in all of our endeavors, and in light of the new year, in this article I'd like to walk you through my goals on Hive for this year and my strategy I hope to adopt in achieving each one of them.
Before I delve into my goals for this year, I'd firstly love to say a big thank you to every single person, community, and team who made the previous year a remarkable one for me, making it easy for me to navigate through Hive and achieve several goals I set for 2024. Thanks so much! I'm grateful and appreciate your guidance, mentorship, support, and everything.
So back to my goals for this new year, well, some will be quite similar to those of last year, but then there are new and compound ones, and they're as follows, which I look forward to achieving alongside you, my hive friends, with support from each one of you hive friends; we'll all end 2025, feeling fulfilled.
So my first goal is related to my hive power. Last year I set that I wanted to have 14k total hive power but couldn't attain it, but I was close. This year, I'm looking forward to reaching a total of 20k hive power before the year runs out, and I'm optimistic about this goal.
To achieve this goal, I've got several plans to make it a reality, and they're
Daily blogging: yes, you read that correctly; I want to try as much as possible to blog every single year in the year 2025, and with that I know my post reward will go on to add to my HP, making it increase. This is much possible, although it can be stressful, but given the fact that I've blogged every single day from 2023 till this very day, I know 2025 will be possible by God's grace, and that's not to forget that daily blogging is a goal on its own too.
Crypto Investment: Early December I started a power down, so I can use some of the Hive to take advantage of the bull market, and I'm hoping there'll still be more rise in Hive value this year, which, if I sell the pump and later buy the deep, will give me bountiful interest to power up back. Already with the little trade I've done, I have had above 100 Hive in interest in trade, and I'm looking forward to more.
Also this year, I want to delve into some intriguing layer two tokens on the Hive Blockchain, which I feel will do good and be beneficial to me in the near future. One of those is the LGN token; the goal is to have 2000 of the tokens at least, even though that isn't achieved yet. But the total I need to read that is just about 220 more LGN tokens, and I hope from buying and getting it as dividends for my delegations, I'll be able to get the total I need before the year runs out.
Still on Hive Engine token, I hope to push my holding of the Leo token to 5000 before the year runs out. Already I've 3200 of it, meaning I need 1800 to achieve my goal. The aim is to power up at least 150 of the Leo token on every Leo power-up day, and with that, if I do it for the 12 months this year, I'll get that 1800 token exactly, and I'm hoping I stick to this and achieve it.
I also want to get more Gifu tokens and Pandaminer tokens to 100; presently, I have 52, but as the year goes by, I'll hope to buy and also win some from being a top weekly blogger or winning some of the initiative that gives the token as a reward.
The last one on my list, I won't really call it a goal for this year, but then I've been nurturing the ideal of creating my own community here on Hive and pushing it to become one of the top here on the blockchain, but then there are several boxes I want to tick before delving into it, and so if most of them were to be achieved, then you'll see me do that and invite you to blog in my community. I've got several other goals, but then I'll bring this writing to a close for now. Thanks so much, and I pray we all achieve all goals and aspirations this year and beyond.
