En días pasados comentaba que para mi Buenos Aires era una especie de galería al aire libre, pero es que teniendo como referencia todos los años vividos en mi país natal, la diferencia se hace sentir.
Cada vez que salgo de paseo a diferentes puntos de la ciudad, alguna esquina o rincón se destaca por mostrarnos una obra que embellece una pared, una tienda e inclusive una cortina protectora (o santamaría como la llamamos en Venezuela)
Obviamente están los graffittis que no son más que garabatos, y que a mi parecer, ni siquiera pasan por arte abstracto, pero lo bueno es que no se mezclan. Cada uno tiene su espacio y ese equilibrio se agradece.
Con diferentes temáticas, estilos y técnicas, embellecen cada uno a su manera esos pequeños espacios dentro del concreto y la cotidianidad, quizás con poco agradecimiento de parte de quienes los pasan y siguen de largo.
Por eso quise regalarles un espacio extra, para que quienes no tienen la dicha de pasar frente a ellos, también los puedan admirar.

In recent days I commented that for me Buenos Aires was a kind of outdoor gallery, but having as a reference all the years lived in my native country, the difference is felt.
Every time I go out for a walk to different parts of the city, some corner or nook stands out for showing us a work that embellishes a wall, a store or even a protective curtain (or santamaría as we call it in Venezuela).
Obviously there are the graffiti that are nothing more than doodles, and in my opinion, they don't even pass for abstract art, but the good thing is that they don't mix. Each one has its own space and that balance is appreciated.
With different themes, styles and techniques, each one embellishes in their own small way those spaces within the concrete and everyday life, perhaps with little appreciation from those who pass by and continue to walk by.
That is why I wanted to give them an extra space, so that those who do not have the joy of passing in front of them, can also admire them.
