This time I selected the topic that has to do with Prioritizing my Relationships or my career. Today in our country there has been a migration of many Venezuelans to other countries in search of jobs due to the crisis in the country, because the salaries are not enough to cover basic needs, this has a lot to do when couples are professionals and have a strong work schedule that affects a relationship, to devote more time to their profession than to their partner.
It should be noted that I studied and graduated as a professional, and then got a job in a public agency whose schedule allowed me to maintain a good relationship with my wife and children, however over the years, the salary was frozen and does not cover the basic needs despite this I looked for other options to generate income from home, which allows me to maintain my relationships of affection with my children and my wife.
It is important to emphasize that we must establish a balance between our profession and our relationship with the family, since we can lose a job but we must try to maintain the family and avoid a rupture due to overwork. There is a saying that says that love with hunger does not last, of course we have to define the work time to then be able to share and enjoy with the family.
On the other hand, no one is indispensable in their job, if they are fired, the company hires someone else to do the same job, but if we lose our family we will regret not having spent more time to enjoy with them. We know that we have to have a job that allows us to cover the basic needs not only for food, education and health, but also for recreation where we can go out to enjoy with our children and wife to a tourist.
