Hello friends in Hive garden Community.. greeting from Indonesian 🥰
in my area, Binjai, it is starting to enter the summer season, the leaves are starting to fall and some are starting to sprout. Activities in my garden are also starting to be active, I started to clean the garden from wild plants and weeds that grow carelessly in my garden. But this afternoon when I went to the garden I just realized there were wild plants growing well in my garden. We call it Gambutan. I have never planted this wild plant, but it is growing well in my garden. Honestly I am very happy, there is a Gambutan plant in my garden, it is like hitting the jackpot

Gambutan plants are wild plants that are similar to pumpkins, their stems have many tendrils and their stems creep. On its stem, tendrils grow which make this plant look like it has hands to hold on tightly to the place it chooses.

The shape of Gambutan leaves is similar to pumpkin leaves, only smaller in size. Just like pumpkin leaves, the surface of Gambutan leaves also has protective wax and fine hairs. If we touch the surface of the leaf, it will feel rough because of the fine hairs on the surface of the leaf.

Although Gambutan is a wild plant, Gambutan fruit is one of the fruits of nature's gift, because Gambutan plants only grow in nature that is still preserved, they really like fertile soil. If there are Gambutan plants growing in our garden, it is because nature gives us a gift in the form of Gambutan fruit.

Gambutan fruit is one of the unique wild fruits, because this fruit grows in the protection of a nest, similar to a bird's nest. This nest is a protector of the Gambutan fruit, after the Gambutan fruit is old and yellow, the nest will be released. When we touch the fruit nest, our hands feel like they are touching a ball of fine hairs.

Young Gambutan fruit is green, while old Gambutan fruit is yellow. Gambutan fruit that is still green has a sour and slightly bitter taste, not delicious. Therefore the best time to enjoy this Gambutan fruit is after it turns yellow. Yellow Gambutan fruit has a fresh sweet taste like passion fruit. Although the size of the fruit is small, the taste of the fruit makes you miss it, because it is sweet and fresh, especially when eaten during the summer.

I really like eating Gambutan fruit, because this fruit is not easy to get, no one sells this wild fruit, because it grows in random places. If this plant is in our garden, then nature is kindly giving us the gift of this sweet and fresh fruit.I love this wild fruit 🥰🥰🥰
