March 23rd, 2024Β Β Β This week there is some delegation news. The first thing I noticed was @kriang3teejoe's 500 HP increase, bringing him to a whopping 3,000 HP, climbing some PLATINUM rungs on the ladder and increasing his weekly and daily raffle odds. @godlovermel25 also increased his delegation by 100 HP, bringing him to a total of 350 HP, putting himself at the top of the SILVER VIPs. @usagigallardo015 increased her delegation a wee bit too, now sitting at 176 HP. I thank all three of you for your increased contributions to our grassroots community.
Β Β Β The rest of you ASEAN Hivers, whether you're a delegator or not, I thank you for bringing value to ASEAN Hive via quality content and longform genuine engagement. There is more than one way to bring value to a Hive community, but only delegations 50 HP and above will make you eligible for this weekly mega raffle. 100% of the post rewards from these weekly raffles go straight to the 5 randomly selected winners. I am forever in disbelief at how much we've grown in a short amount of time, consistently in the top ranked Hive communities.
Β Β Β A community is only as strong as its members, and for us I think that is our strong point. It's hard work to make sure the folks posting in ASEAN Hive are engaged and not simply dumping posts for rewards, and I've had to mute a few members recently who happened to be generous delegators. Even delegators can be muted if they consistently post low effort content, post without engaging a little, or engaging only in the form insincere short comments like "lovely post," or "thanks for sharing." For all those who have put in the efforts, I thank you for making this community my favorite place on the Hive blockchain.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Β Β Β Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP π₯ BRONZE Raffle.
Β Β Β There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
Β Β Β This week's total effective HP is 168,668, and total delegated HP is 154,146 HP (118,046 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
