Mind the kind of people you keep around you, some people existence does not add value to your life, they are just there as an hindrance which keep holding you down and if not careful you might sink with the weight of their pressure. Try to be okay without keeping those that need to exit your life, you don't need anybody's approval on the decision of your life, it all yours to make.
The day you decided to stop waiting for others approval and decide that your life is your own that is the day you will find true happiness. When you know that you don't need to apologise to anyone about the decision you make for yourself, you didn't make any excuse and you stop leaning on other, that is the best gift you can give yourself. You alone are responsible for your life.
