Determined, as I am ...

I made my weekend trip to the beach...

We went to Los Roques, my husband and I... and that's what we did the combo of the family that is the two of us hahah, looking for a lonely beach in that frenetic mess of crowds that is our big house my beloved city, at Easter, of 2015

We went to the beach for 3 days, I wanted to feel like I was living there in that huge sea and not on vacation. Sitting on the shore of the beach, until the sun goes down, to connect to the happiness of what I can see with the naked eye, I think that when I retire I want the tranquility, the brief leisure of a day, while the fishermen go about their business. To understand that in this contemplation ideas, projects, hope to arise.

I don't know if it happens to anyone else. But I listen to myself in those tunes, serene, narrating and a lump gets in my throat, I don't know why, always watching the episodes at some point, that make me cry, well, and it's not because I'm outside Venezuela, I'm here in Los Roques, I've gone out into the world, that is, it's not nostalgia. It must be because of the true love with which I look at this country, that touches my heart and that is what inspires me to write this TBT this day.

Weekends are the great time at any Venezuelan beach, especially in Los Roques, the great tourist destination in my country. I don't know about the world, because the sea is waking up recovering its space. It maintains its serene rhythm, like Cayo Francisqui, cayo de agua, the latter produces fresh water naturally.

    They are beautiful beaches.

Los Roques, is literally speaking, paradise on earth, and enjoying it with the best company, my husband was an unimaginable experience.

This trip was special for both of us because between philosophizing, enjoying the sunrise light in this Caribbean archipelago, you can breathe nature, free and full, with protected ecosystems.

The blues of my Caribbean are an inspiration, they are the blues of the geography of my country, and I really have nothing more to say than what I show you in the photos.

We slept in that glory of nature, hospitality and silence that is the great Rock. And since I am an early riser and idleness disturbs me, I threw myself into the sea to swim in that lonely and peaceful bay, in active meditation mode and feeling that I could reach the Atlantic. We enjoyed the sunsets, the energy that, I know you, made me feel unstoppable.

To be in Los Roques, is to be in another dimension, it is the euphoria, the fullness, three days of a full weekend, I want to repeat with my husband.

The Roques archipelago, is located approximately 160 km north of La Guaira, the closest mainland port to the city of Caracas (Venezuela).

We leave from the airport in Maiquetia, La Guaira state, very close to the capital of my country; with a duration of 30 to 40 minutes by air, by plane.

Not for a second of my life do I feel guilty about being happy in my land, because the truth is that we all deserve a kind life, and we have to get it. In spite of the excesses and the mistreatment in my country.

    Janitze.
