Hola Beautiful Beings of this family @worldmappin. This is my first time to post in this awesome community. I am so grateful for this opportunity. Thanks very much.
Living in a tropical country makes you think that we always have easy access to beaches. It’s not always the case because in the city, the coastal area is converted to seaports and some are already polluted. Travelling to towns usually is the answer for this if we want to see more natural beaches that are still not overly developed, so they are also cheaper.
As a treat for us from my brother and his friend (they are colleagues), they decided to have a trip to northern part of Cebu, Philippines for an overnight stay at the beach resort. The resort is located in Maravilla, Tabuelan, Cebu. The distance from the city to this town is about 96 kilometers via central highway.
The sky was a bit gloomy that time so the beautiful blue sky is not so evident in the pictures. First, we volunteered to go to their fish market and looked around their public market. There wasn’t much supply that time, so they thought of going back the next day. The rest of the afternoon was just spent at the beach talking and getting to know each other. This was my first time to meet the family of my brother’s colleague so we got to know each other and introduced ourselves more. I also tagged along my friend with me, it was already a good chance because it was also her day off from work.
This beach is also adjacent to other beaches but people are free to access beyond each other’s boundary because there are no fences between them. We went strolling along the beach and enjoyed the sunset. The doggo also enjoyed its moment at the beach. The others just stayed behind and rested while their aunt got herself busy with the grilling of fish.
Thankfully it turned sunny the next day, the beautiful blue sky showed up. It got too hot that I got sunburned immediately; that was the price for not putting on some sunblock. The others went strolling far away, while I just stayed nearby and enjoyed the wonderful creation of my Creator. The sea was so calm, but I was a bit disappointed that it was low tide.
We couldn’t enjoy swimming really, but if you walk farther, the water level gets deeper. Our conversations were so fun that we didn't mind much about that. To be surrounded with pristine beach and walking on sand plus the sight of blue sea that seemed to touch the sky was therapeutic enough for us.
Soon the others got back and continued to savor the moment of being in this captivating beach. We basked in the heat of the sun, not minding the strong heat. We would be going back in the afternoon on that day, so we made sure to have the most of this trip. We particularly enjoyed walking barefoot on fine white sand.
Grilled fish was the main course for lunch. Aunt was happy to volunteer as always. Soon we would be going to the city. We enjoyed the fresh fish from the local fisherman. Our hearts wanted to stay but it was just an overnight trip and it was school day for the kids soon.
We enjoyed the murals on their wall. There were paintings of famous NBA players. The owner must be an avid fan of NBA. We didn’t miss the chance to have our pictures taken with this as the background. Another cutie doggo also wanted to be part of the family picture.😊
Went home tired and sunburnt but we had some Vitamin Sea (Vit. C). A memorable time to bond while enjoying the warmth of the sea breeze.
Thank you everyone for your time. Take Care. See you all around.
