Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 109, Edition 01 of our Weekly Featured Content.
So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is “WHEN YOU CAN’T STOP TALKING”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “WHAT’S YOUR COST OF LIVING?” This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the cost of living in their various countries. They told us about the state of their economy and how it was affecting them, they also told us about how their earnings would fare if they chose to migrate abroad.
We got to see the different measures people were taking to cope with the tough times. We saw how everyone was trying their best to stay on top of the difficult times just so they could get through unscathed. It was an enlightening topic indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w108e3 tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about life in Canada compared to when he was in Brazil. He talked about how inflation made everything expensive and how surviving was really tough on him. Moving somewhere else with the same income might not be much help but increasing the earning might be a better idea.
COST OF LIVING WANTS TO KILL THE LIVING by @kushyzee
For this author, he gave us a detailed account of just how much he spent on day-to-day dealings compared to how it was done in other countries. From Lagos to New York, he showed comparisons and with so many things different about both places, it was easy to see why the cost of living in one place was higher than it was in another.
This author told us about the Malaysian economy and how it was affecting him. The cost of living in Malaysia was low, compared to a number of countries, and even though their currency was weak, it made for a comfortable way of life. The same earning won’t do much in another country, but it works just fine for him in Malaysia..
