People say that Vietnam is a paradise of natural beauty. I think it's true, one of the most beautiful places in Southeast Asia is Vietnam, especially in Lam Dong, Da Lat. Why choose Da Lat as one of the tourist destinations? Because I have a very good feeling here, and it is true.
When I went to Da Lat, in November, precisely during winter. This area has quite cold weather and pierces the bones, every morning checking the air temperature ranged from 10-12 degrees Celsius at that time. Well, interestingly, this place does not snow, but the air temperature makes hotel rooms all over the city of Da Lat do not have AC.
In the morning, when everyone still rest and sleep, I stopped by one of the houses of worship that have a very large land area, the large among them. Truc Lam Buddhist Monastery or in Vietnamese is: 'Thiền Viện Trúc Lâm'. Not far from the city center Da Lat, just using a motorbike and is on one of the hill in the city.
Why did I stop by that place? Maybe it's a note that if you type the words 'Da Lat Free Tourist Destinations', then you will find a picture with natural beauty and flowers on Google Maps, I'm sure you will be very interested in coming there. Voluntarily and because this place is very cold, even during the day it won't feel hot and scorching. So, you can come anytime, except at night because it will disturb the temple guards.
This place is very quiet, not noisy and we can even hear the sound of birds, insects, flowing water, dew drops and the sound of humans praying. It feels like being in heaven but on earth, it's really beautiful.
Looking around, it seems like there are 2 categories of people who come here on purpose, to worship and tourists. Although it seems that local Vietnamese tourists are more dominant than foreign tourists, they are still tourists. Not crowded with people, still quiet and that achieves pleasure for anyone who comes here.
A very nice place to daydream on a chair or read a book in the garden around the temple yard. The dominant architectural building is similar to a Chinese building but a bit like a place in Japan. Basically, the shape of an Asian building that is usually found in various Buddhist temples.
This is a very good deal for those who really like peaceful places and enjoy the surroundings in a relaxed manner. Hills, trees, wind and vibes that will make you miss Vietnam and Da Lat.
