Recently, the Netflix platform released a new Spanish series, where we talk about a very delicate subject, which is always good to treat it, in order to give awareness to society about this important issue that I will talk about later. The series is called Ni una más, which was directed by Miguel Sáez Carral (Creator), Eduard Cortés, Marta Font and David Ulloa. There was a great expectation around this production and in this opportunity I bring you an opinion of what I thought of it.

Recientemente, la plataforma Netflix sacó una nueva serie española, donde nos habla de un tema bastante delicado, la cual es bueno siempre tratarlo, para de esta manera darle la concientización a la sociedad sobre este tema tan importante que les voy a hablar más adelante. La serie se llama Ni una más, que fue dirigida por Miguel Sáez Carral (Creador), Eduard Cortés, Marta Font y David Ulloa. En torno a esta producción había una gran expectativa y en esta oportunidad les traigo una opinión de lo que me pareció.

The series Ni una más has a total of 8 chapters, where the same is of the genre of youth drama, where several issues that are currently very present in society are touched, such as bullying, where even things can happen to greater with the abuse towards girls. This is the central theme of this Spanish series, which tries to raise awareness of this issue, which can be so damaging where many even end their lives. This production leaves us several messages that are important, we should never keep quiet about things, we should always talk. Friendship is something relevant, since having someone to lean on is comforting, but it is also crucial to keep in mind that we should never trust everyone.

La serie Ni una más tiene un total de 8 capítulos, donde la misma es del género de drama juvenil, donde se tocan varios temas que actualmente están muy presente en la sociedad, como es el acoso escolar, donde incluso las cosas pueden pasar a mayor con el abuso hacia las chicas. Este es el tema central de esta serie española, donde se trata de dar a conocer este tema, que puede ser tan perjudicar donde muchos incluso acaban con sus vidas. Esta producción nos deja varios mensajes que son importantes, nunca debemos callar las cosas, siempre debemos hablar. La amistad es algo relevante, ya que tener alguien en quien apoyarnos, es reconfortante, pero también es crucial tener presente que nunca debemos confiarnos en todos.

The plot of the series tells us how Alma, a high school girl, denounces a rape involving young people from the student community. At first no one believes the girl and that is where each of the chapters begins to develop, where we are told how this serious situation happened, which is not so far from reality, because they really are things that usually happen. This series has a touch of suspense, since there are many things that we do not know at the beginning, but as the production progresses, we realize what really happened and if what Alma said was true and who were the people involved.

La trama de la serie nos cuenta como Alma, una chica de instituto, denuncia una violación donde están involucrados jóvenes de la comunidad estudiantil. Al principio nadie le cree a la chica y allí es donde se empieza a desarrollar cada uno de los capítulos, donde nos van contando como fue que paso esta situación tan grave, que no está tan alejado de la realidad, porque realmente son cosas que suelen pasar. Esta serie tiene un toque de suspenso, ya que hay muchas cosas que no sabemos en el principio, pero a medida que va avanzando la producción, nos vamos dando cuenta realmente que fue lo que paso y si realmente lo que dijo Alma fue cierto y quienes fueron los involucrados.

The plot of the series is pretty good, but I must say that it is not perfect. Not one more touches important issues and that give the message to young people or anyone who feels identified, invites them to denounce and bring it to light. It is also essential to know that we can never get carried away by a person's past, it is always relevant to know them because by their appearance or behavior, we can get a bad idea and prejudge something that is far from what is really happening. I mention this because in the series we see how Alma is a bad girl, who is doing very well in high school, even consuming psychoactive substances, which is why many do not believe what this character was saying.

La trama de la serie está bastante bien, pero sí debo decir que perfecta no es. Ni una más toca temas importante y que dan el mensaje a los jóvenes o cualquier persona que se sienta identificado, los invita a denunciar y sacarlo a luz. También es fundamental saber que nunca nos podemos dejar llevar por el pasado de una persona, siempre es relevante conocerla porque por su aspecto o comportamiento, nos podemos dar una mala idea y prejuzgar algo que está alejado de lo que realmente está pasando. Esto lo menciono porque en la serie vemos como Alma es una chica mala conducto, que le va muy al en el instituto, incluso consume sustancias psicoactivas, por lo cual mucho no creen lo que este personaje estaba diciendo.

What I like most about the series is the suspense part, and that we will be surprised by how the story will develop. The cast of this series includes Nicole Wallace, Clara Galle and Gabriel Guevara, among others. These are the ones I mention, since I saw them in movies, since Nicole and Gabriel are the protagonists of the Culpables trilogy, where in December of this year the second installment will be released. Really these two do well within this series, connect with both characters, especially with Alma, who is the main character of the story and that Nicole Wallace project it quite well.

Lo que más me llama a atención de la serie es la parte del suspenso, y que nos vamos a sorprender de como se irá desarrollando la historia. El cast de esta serie está conformada con Nicole Wallace, Clara Galle y Gabriel Guevara, entre otras más. Esto son los que menciono, ya que los vi en películas, puesto que Nicole y Gabriel son los protagonistas de la trilogía de Culpables, donde en diciembre de este año sale la segunda entrega. Realmente estos dos lo hacen bien dentro de esta serie, conecte con ambos personajes, sobre todo con Alma, que es el principal de la historia y que Nicole Wallace lo proyecto bastante bien.

On the other hand, we have Clara Galles, protagonist of A trilogy of Through my window, who in Not one more, played Greta, who like Alma are two characters with bad behaviors, but these two inseparable friends, who despite going through things, will always support each other. It must be said that Clara's performance was the one I personally liked the least, she is an actress who is just starting in this world, but thanks to the aforementioned production, she has gained fame, which is why she won one of the main roles in this series. Also another main character is played by Aïcha Villaverde, who gives life to Greta, a girl who is in a relationship that is not good for her, since Alberto (Gabriel Guevara) will not fly her, but she still tries to try, something that usually happens in real life.

Por otro lado, tenemos a Clara Galles, protagonistas de A trilogía de A través de mi ventana, quien en Ni una más, interpretó a Greta, quien al igual que Alma son dos personajes malas conductas, pero estos dos amigas inseparables, que a pesar de pasar por cosas, siempre se van a apoyar mutuamente. Hay que decir que la actuación de Clara en lo personal fue la que menos me gustó, es una actriz que está comenzando en este mundo, pero gracias a la producción ya mencionada, ha ganado fama, razón por la cual se ganó uno de los papeles principales de esta serie. También otro personaje principal es el hecho por Aïcha Villaverde, quien le da vida a Greta, una chica que está en una relación que no le hace bien, ya que Alberto (Gabriel Guevara) no la volara, pero aún ella trata de intentarlo, cosa que suele pasar en la vida real.

As for the direction of the series, the photography and the soundtrack, I must tell you that it was one of the best things we are going to find. The series has several scenes that stand out, with interesting shots that give another perspective to what we are seeing. Most of Not one more takes place in the high school, in Alma and Greta's house and other places. The truth is that everything was well represented. As for the soundtrack, we have good music that represents very well what we are seeing at the time, plus we have current and lively music, since being a youth series, parties are the order of the day. Each of these aspects I think was a success.

En cuanto a la dirección de la serie, la fotografía y la banda sonora, les debo decir que fue de las mejores cosas que vamos a encontrar. La serie tiene varias escenas que destacan bastante, con planos interesantes que le dan otra perspectiva a lo que estamos viendo. La mayor parte de Ni una más se da en el instituto, en la cada de Alma y Greta y otros lugares más. La verdad es que todo fue bien representado. En cuando a la banda sonora, tenemos buena música que representa muy bien lo que estamos viendo en el momento, además que tenemos músicas actuales y movidas, ya que al tratarse una serie juvenil, las fiestas están a la orden del día. Cada uno de estos aspectos pienso que fue un acierto.

Final opinion

What we must emphasize in this series are the different messages they want to give us, such as always denounce harassment, abuse and violence, we know that many can judge you without knowing what you are really going through, but you will also have people by your side who will support you, whether family or friends. A series where more than the plot and how well done it is or not, we must highlight these facts. Not one more, is a Netflix series that teenagers can not stop watching, for this reason is that I recommend it.

Opinión final

Lo que debemos destacar de esta serie son los diferentes mensajes que nos quieren dar, como es que siempre denunciemos el acoso, el maltrato y la violencia, sabemos que muchos te pueden juzgar sin conocer por lo que realmente estás pasando, pero también tendrás personas a tu lado que te van a apoyar, ya seamos familiares o amigos. Una serie donde más que la trama y lo bien realizada que este o no, debemos destacar por estos hechos. Ni una más, es una serie de Netflix que los adolescentes no pueden dejar de ver, por esta razón es que la recomiendo.
