The two major problems am facing right now.

Good morning, everyone. It's another day this week.
What is the major problem I am facing? There are two major problems. I am facing, first, light, and second, money.

Let me first talk about light. It has been a while since the Nepa has given us light. I just don't know why they refuse to give us light, and it's frustrating. As you all know, we are all in a heat period, and every day we have to sleep sweating.

The funniest part is that the Lokoja heat period is the worst I've ever seen. If I'm still in my home town, there's still hope because we have trees around us, and if the tree is blowing, we are going to enjoy the breeze, but here in Lokoja there are no trees, and all the houses here, especially the place I'm staying, are beside each other, and the landlord of our apartment built a fence so that there's no place the breeze will come inside.

It's just annoying that we have to sleep every single day in heat, and the next day the bed you are sleeping in and the pillow have already wet all because we are sweating.
This is the period when the Nepa should have given us light, but they didn't. We've got to wait for our neighbour to come back from work before we charge or go to school.

If not for the power bank I bought that's helping me, I would have known what I would be facing all because of the light. If we had a generator, it would have been better. We wouldn't be complaining so much because we would just be on our generator and enjoy it.

And the last one is money. As you all know, money can do many things, but there are particular things it can't buy, which are happiness, joy, peace of life, emotions, etc. These are the things money can't buy, no matter how hard you try to buy them. Let me go straight to the point. As you all know, what we are facing presently in this country is how our leaders are just misbehaving and how things are costing so much that if we don't have enough money, we can't buy things.

It's frustrating me a lot because we can't endure this thing like this. If we ask people what the major problems are, they will all say money. Money is everybody's major problem.
There are things I would love to buy, but money is the major problem I am facing right now.

I can still remember when we went to my grandma's burial ceremony, which was in September last year. I bought a roll-on at a rate of #1000. During December, when I and my brother were going home for Christmas and the New Year, I bought a roll-on at a rate of #1,200. Currently, when I followed my roommate to buy a roll-on, we were surprised because we only held $1500, thinking we were going to collect change out of the #1,500.

Last Thursday, when I wanted to go and buy Detergent in the market, my neighbour said I should help her buy rice, which should be around #6,000; Tuesday, she went to buy rice; she bought it for around #5,500; so as I got to the market, I first went to buy my Detergent, then I went to help my neighbour buy her rice.

As I got to the first woman selling rice, she said #6,500. I was surprised that rice is now #6,500. I went to five different places, all of which are saying #6500. I was amazed because my neighbour thought the rice would be #6,000, so I called her and told her she was surprised, but she didn't have a choice; she said if I had changed, I should help her with it, so I went to meet the last woman and begged her to collect #6,000; she didn't want to sell it, but when I begged well, she collected it from me, and when I got home, I gave my neighbour her rice and the remaining change.

Even my brother and roommate were surprised that rice is now expensive. We are facing a lot in Lokoja, all because of expensive things. If you don't have enough money, you can't go to Lokoja market.
Like I said earlier, light and money are the major problems I am facing in Lokoja.
