How did you spend your day today? was it hectic, cool or harsh? Mine was enjoyable though I became stressed up at the end. But for the fact that I found joy doing the work, I didn't feel it.
Now, the question is, what is it that I accomplished?
What was the source of my joy since I became stressed up thereafter?
This two questions are very important that I can't overlook or ignore them in this post.
Now, let's dive into them one after the other.
What is it that I accomplished
I left home very early today with my nieces to my cassava farm to harvest cassava because I need to prepare them for their departure.
Yea, they came to spend the holidays with us and will soon return to their house in Portharcourt Rivers State.
As we left to the farm, on reaching the farm, I started digging the ground in hunt of matured cassava roots to uproot.
As I was digging the ground uprooting cassava roots, the two girls was also busy gathering each one I brought it.
It took us good 4 hours starting from 6:20 am to 10:20am before we could finish the first part. Hahahaha, the first part? Yea, as the children told me that they are hungry, I felt pity for them and decided to take them home. With the intention that once they're done with breakfast, we will return back to farm to finish up with the harvesting work.
On the process, I heard a strange word from my little niece telling me to continue with the harvesting since it's remaining only but half bag to complete my set target of two bags.
As she made that statement, the little one felt bad and decided not to help us because she is hungry. Therefore, I bought biscuits for them.
Thereafter, I continued the harvesting work with the older one while the younger one was there playing. lolz.
But at the end, she joined us and we greatly enjoyed the harvesting work that's why we took series of pictures before leaving the farm.
My reason for joy despite stressed
Do you know that instead of harvesting just half bag, we harvested more than enough because surprisingly, we got 2 bags and almost half bag instead of 2 bags only. Take a look at the reminder.
My day went peacefully and I enjoyed it along with my 2 niece that gingered me up. Their presence with me at the farm also added to my joy and am grateful.
Right now, am feeling so fatigue. Let me rest and to continue tomorrow.
