It has a battle card game which is very much like @Splinterlands. ... You play an NPC right now, PvP later. Each battler uses the same number of cards. Right now, just 3 on 3. Speed, attack, armor and health stats are like in Splinterlands. ... If you win, you earn XP and in-game currency. Cards can be combined to get better stats. Also other features Splinterlands doesn't have.
It's a battle card game sum'ting like Splinterlands. Getting so many cards in a pack. The cards may be combined into other cards. You'll select sum cards and battle fer da win!
From FAQ - How do I play the Battle Cards game?
Select three cards, the click Battle. The battle will play out. Watch the screen as the battle rages!

Armor 0 1 1 versus 2 2 2 ... 2 versus 6 ... Feelin' better about this already! Feels good man!
Speed 3 4 2 versus 10 5 6 ... 9 versus 21 ... Lookin' gud! Next..
Attack 3 3 2 versus 5 3 5 ... 8 versus 13 ... Lookin' gud all around!
Note that these are higher level cards in a favored battle. Just using cards on hand as a demonstration. Will adjust to "new" level cards to give a better demonstration of how play will start. So as to give another example moar in line with wut you may start with.
