Every day is an opportunity, an opportunity to be, to learn, to feel, to listen, to observe, to laugh, to sing, to dance, to write, to take a photograph... and the count goes on. Gratitude is a feeling or a gift, as many consider it.
In some cases (the worst) people who live without using this gift seem to live in an unhappy way. On the other hand, when we are grateful it seems that all things work together for our good. I don't know how much you like this post, I want you to know that it has nothing to do with religion or anything like that, it was just a wish that came from my heart, I hope you can enjoy the little read.
According to Seneca "Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the mother of all others." This phrase reminds us that gratitude is the basis of many other positive qualities, such as compassion, humility and generosity.
Aristotle once wrote "Gratitude is a memory of the heart." This quote emphasizes the emotional connection between gratitude and memory. By being grateful, we remember the kindnesses of others and strengthen our bonds.
- Being grateful to myself for my efforts to become a better person every day makes me feel powerful!
- Being grateful that I can see the light coming through my window lights up my mind.
- Being grateful that I can talk to my parents and laugh with my family makes me feel loved.
- Being grateful to nature when it surprises me makes me feel at peace.
- Being grateful to you for allowing me to be part of the Hive family makes me feel very special.
