Cleaning Up The dead People Database by Elon Musk

Anybody still thinking about why DOGE, lol.

Elon Musk was given a whole department by President Trump and just in case you're unfamiliar with what that department represents, it's simply about overseeing government activities to ensure that the right things are done while Trump is still in power.

Elon has gotten a lot of hate for that and to be honest if I was him, I would not have taken up that position because Elon is not just a person, he's representing an entire organization; Tesla and Space X.

The people of America have made that very clear to him and the world. There's been a lot of vandalization of Tesla products, both cars and machines.

Look at this news from CBS, this happened a little over a day ago. Tesla cars getting set on fire and destroyed. People make videos of this and when I read the comments, more people actually approve of this.

The Tesla stocks have gone down by more than 30 percent and I'm thinking that may not be the end, it might just plummet more.

The decisions he's making doesn't sit well with the American communities. Everything that has happened although might make him depressed and sad, the dude is not one to give up on anything just because he's seen something get destroyed.

His SpaceX shuttles get blown up all the time, this guy is very used to fire now, lol.

A recent news stated that the DOGE team has cleaned up some Social Security records, removing 3.2 Million people listed as 120 years or older. These people have now been officially marked as deceased.

The DOGE team posted on X, saying they’ve been fixing records for two weeks now. Elon Musk jokingly called the exercise "cleaning up the dead people database"

Honestly if I was this dude, I'd refrain from posting on social media for a while until the hate goes down but well, that's Elon for you.

Why have they decided to do this though? Simple reason. Elon Musk and Donald Trump have analyzed the Social security database and have both become concerned about how many old records existed on the database.

Way too many old records could led to some errors that could possibly cause incorrect payments.

Come to think of it, there could be a deceased person that's still receiving social security pay and if it's being used then that should mean someone alive and ineligible is behind it.

Social security might be paying the dead, lol

The Social Security Administration (SSA) said just because someone is in the database doesn’t mean they’re still getting money and I agree. But mistakes do happen though.

There are records that show that between 2015 and 2022, Social Security overpaid $71.8 billion, mostly to the living people.

Some of the mistakes happen because of old software. Let's just say, if someone’s birthdate is missing, the system might mistakenly list them as over 150 years old by default.

Right now, about 18.9 million people in the system were born in 1920 or earlier but aren’t officially marked as dead. That's millions of people over 100 years old.

Can you say for sure that that many people at that age are alive in America today?

So imagine if 10 percent of these people get social security, that's going to be a lot of cash. Social Security is still working on fixing this problem and for me I don't even understand why this system should still exist like that.

Can't they just call Mark Zuckerberg to fix this shit, haha.

That's one side of the story, there's also a side where if you make too many mistakes adjusting this system error, you could mistakenly take social security from people who deserve it.

Elon Musk is working on very sensitive projects, he does it without much emotions, just following principles and math and it's no wonder he's getting hate for it.

His intentions, from what I hear, assuming it's true is to help the American people and like as Trump says, make America great again but the path he has taken is going to get more controversial along the way.

What do you guys think about this move DOGE is making?

Good or fuk'd up or both 👀
