to almighty God, for a wonderful opportunity to be part of today's YouTube live service with Brother Daniel Kuya and Brother Eli who really went on to teach more on love, being passionate on our fellow, hence is a wonderful opportunity and interesting one today, below is my own contribution on this, patterning to the teaching.
With reference to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 let us understand that love is patient and is more regarded as showing kindness to one another, and on the other hand I understand from the teaching that where there is love there is always the absence of envy and jealousy. As much I understood from this verse, love is selflessness in as much as it is also honor and not to dishonor others.
We need to understand what is love morally, hence where we found love there is always the presence of trust where evil is unseen, in as much there is presences of such which is truth, there is protection that shelter the truth which is due to the presence of loving one another, hence the more we love the more truth is preserved.
Therefore when we talk about love, love is what all believers ought to have, which is expected from us, love extend beyond emotion and feeling that has to do with paying sacrificially with what we have in order to define who we are made up of in showing regards through kindness, selflessness, forgiveness, trust and truthfulness.
According to the book of Proverb 27:10 let us understand we ought not to forsake one another, be it family members, friends, relations and neighbors. Hence base on this verse used let us understand that we ought to show support to people most especially the days of their adversity, there is need to show concern with the little we can do which is under our control, so is very important that we fail not to sure love when our brother or sister is in trouble instead of neglecting.
Hence this verse shows solidarity over showing support which is the love we show to people during their challenging time, so brethren let's not fail to make good family, friends, and relative that can be of help when there is need to show solidarity for one another, which typically define love over our doctrine we practice as believers.
1 Timothy 2:1 encouraged every believer to engage more on things of the spirit which is all about praying and interceding for one another for the sake of Christ regardless the religion family or even the background the individual or group of people where they are coming from, hence the main purpose is to show love through prayer to them which defines us. Hence by doing so enhance our spiritual life of being compassionate and selfless over our fellow.
On the other hand Jesus showed example of generosity in the book of Matthew 5:42 which enlighten me on the need to be open-handed in helping people through willingness, hence there is need for every Christian to understand that when you give, do not expect anything in return for that which shows the act of giving with free mind, hence Jesus went on to enlighten more on generosity, being compassionate and showing kindness to all man on Earth.
Therefore morally, the above scriptural quotation and today's teaching by Bro Daniel and Brother Eli emphasize more on the need for love and why we ought to be part takers of it as believers which is mainly to be seen in our relationship with our fellow, so there is need to prioritize love. And also this teaching enlightens us that love is mainly to be extended beyond our immediate circle or belief and we are to show support, the virtues of love for all and not for self satisfaction.
So therefore let us do away with the likes of division and selfishness and replace it with empathy, kindness, integrity and being generous and as well which add more credibility to our belief where souls are attracted and won for Christ.
