In today's chapter, I am sharing my thoughts on the coquette fashion trend, which has been storming the entire internet. Starting off, I would like to express that I had never been aware of the word "coquette" until I started seeing the aesthetic lifestyle played out with trend lovers and style explorers on the internet. Do not get me wrong; I have always known about all that this style of fashion entails, from the origination of the style to what makes up the style aesthetic, but I haven't been necessarily aware of the name "Coquette."

This style trend is very familiar to me, as it was a trend that circulated around younger girls in the late 90s to mid-2000s, and the style makeup definitely is prominent, as this was the go-to style for most younger girls of the time. It is not surprising that the cyclical nature of fashion trends has brought back this trend in style in the past year. 2023 saw the return of the coquette trend, with the exploration and inspiration of this aesthetic seen on several social platforms like Pinterest and Instagram.

En el capítulo de hoy, comparto mis pensamientos sobre la tendencia de la moda coqueta, que ha irrumpido con fuerza en todo Internet. Para empezar, me gustaría expresar que nunca había sido consciente de la palabra "coqueta" hasta que empecé a ver el estilo de vida estético jugado con los amantes de las tendencias y los exploradores de estilo en Internet. I have made a post about the evolution of my style in the past year. Personally, I have seemingly been drawn to more clean-cut types of outfits, from the colors which I usually would opt for neutral to silhouettes that appear more formal. As individuals evolve, I think style changes are inevitable. So to speak, the coquette isn't a style I would go for every day and make my lifestyle aesthetic about, but for a playful scenario, I think dressing up for occasions with this style is definitely fun and spontaneous for me, which isn't something I would mind every once in a while.

He hecho un post sobre la evolución de mi estilo en el último año. Personalmente, parece que me he sentido atraída por tipos de atuendos más limpios, desde los colores que normalmente optaría por neutros hasta siluetas que parecen más formales. A medida que las personas evolucionan, creo que los cambios de estilo son inevitables. Por así decirlo, la coqueta no es un estilo por el que me decantaría todos los días y que marcaría la estética de mi estilo de vida, pero para un escenario lúdico, creo que vestirme para las ocasiones con este estilo es definitivamente divertido y espontáneo para mí, que no es algo que me importaría de vez en cuando.

To style this coquette outfit, I had considered all that the aesthetic entails, from the fairy detail to an angelic look with ribbons and blush pink pastel colors. I went for a really soft makeup look, and for my hair, I think my goddess braids added to its effect and matched the aesthetic of flirtiness. The general color code is a mix of soft pink colors from a Y2K shirt I own and a cotton uniform skirt. I also used a baby net material in front of the skirt for a housekeeper uniform look, which you would see in old Hollywood.

ara estilizar este conjunto de coqueta, tuve en cuenta todo lo que conlleva la estética, desde el detalle de hada hasta un look angelical con lazos y colores pastel rosa rubor. Me decanté por un maquillaje muy suave, y en cuanto al pelo, creo que mis trenzas de diosa contribuyeron a su efecto y encajaron con la estética de coquetería. El código de color general es una mezcla de colores rosa suave de una camisa Y2K que tengo y una falda de uniforme de algodón. También utilicé un material de red de bebé delante de la falda para conseguir un look de uniforme de ama de llaves, que se vería en el viejo Hollywood.
