After 5 years, I finally got to enjoy my favorite drink, which is a coconut drink. And the best thing is that it's from our own coconuts from our backyard.
During a very hot and a busy day of cleaning and working around the house, Luis (who takes care of our beach lot came to our house in Santa Ana to help us do some work in our backyard ) took some coconuts down from our trees and cut quite few of the coconuts to make my favorite coconut drink.
The drink is made out of coconut water and the coconut meat, which we had to scrape it with a spoon, after emptying the coconuts and cutting them in half.
When the pitcher was filled with the coconut water, I added few big pieces of the coconut meat into the blender with some ice and a tiny bit of sugar and blended it all togethet
One of the pitchers we just filled up with coconut water and we keep it in the fridge, so that we can just grab a glass of coconut water whenever we want to instead of cutting the coconuts by one.
And then we had the other pitcher with a coconut milk, which I absolutely love because you taste the tiny pieces of coconut meat while you drink it.
What a perfect drink for this hot weather and so yummy.
What a blessing.
The rest of the coconut meat we also kept in the fridge and we just kept eating it whenever we wanted some coconut.
