Tofu stuffed with vegetables

    Hi vegan friends, how are you today? May you all be happy always wherever you are. It's been a long time since I shared with you.
    Today I made tofu stuffed with vegetables with the basic ingredients of tofu which are split and filled with vegetables then fried with a layer of flour on the outside.

    This stuffed tofu is very often sold on the roadside as a snack and many people like it, usually enjoying the stuffed tofu with green chilies or with a dip in chili sauce.
    I'll just share the recipe for you to try at home.


    Materials used:


    10 pieces of dried tofu (use brown tofu which doesn't crumble easily)

    Make the filling
    30 grams of carrots
    100 grams of cabbage
    100 grams of bean sprouts
    1 spring onion
    2 celery stalks

    Spices for filling:
    4 red onions
    2 pieces of garlic
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp mushroom stock
    1/4 tsp ground pepper


    How to make vegetable filling:


    • Prepare all the ingredients, cut the shallots and garlic then set aside

    • take vegetables and cut all vegetables except bean sprouts (cut vegetables into long matchstick shapes)

    • Saute the shallots and garlic in hot oil until fragrant

    • add all the spices, sugar, salt, mushroom stock and ground pepper then add the vegetables and add a little water

    • Cook until wilted and cooked, don't forget to adjust the taste to suit your tastes at home.

    • Once cooked, set aside the filling ingredients


    Make the Flour layer


    Ground spices:
    2 pieces of garlic
    1 tbsp coriander
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp msg
    1/2 tsp ground pepper

    170 grams of wheat flour
    30 grams of all-purpose seasoned flour
    400 ml water


    How to make:


    • Grind the spices then set aside

    • Add all the flour ingredients

    • Add ground spices then add water little by little

    • Stir until mixed well and there are no flour lumps

    • Make a dough Try not to make it too runny, it's better to have a thick flour dough


    Knowing the contents


    • Take brown tofu then take 1 tofu and cut it into 2 I want to make a small version and split 1 side like this

    • prepare the flour layer that has been made, put the stuffed tofu into the flour

    • Heat the oil then add the stuffed tofu and fry until browned

    • tofu stuffed with vegetables is ready to be served.
