MONITORING MY DIGITAL HABITS

    I believe many of us are addicted to screen, especially if you are a blogger, there is no magic to that, spending time with the screen is something I find myself doing every day and I am happy being on my screen because the outcome is always productive.

    I believe in this era most of us spend more time on our screens, most people make their daily income through this, some people deal with crypto and some are into technologies and all sorts of things that can bring something to the table even most people are on social media 24/7 not because they find it funny it is because they are making millions of naira there, especially on TikTok.

    Approximately a day, I do spend 10 hours with my screen, not because I do not have something to do but because that is part of my side hustle, if I am out of offline work then I resume my online jobs, I love one thing about my siblings they always observe whenever I am with my phone or laptop they do give me chance and never come close because they know I am in a working mode.

    I do not joke with my screen every day, an adage says to use the black hair to hustle then use the grey hair to enjoy, life is so simple that we can learn so many things online this day and it can be as perfect as we want.

    My routine every day when I wake up is to say my prayers, do some exercise, and drink my warm water, the next thing is to resume to my screen, checking emails and responding to them, and also check if I can publish posts on Hive at that time, when I am done with that then I can go and do the house chores before taking my bath then have my coffee as breakfast by this time I will be prepared to go to my studio for my offline work.

    Like an adage says no one is an island of knowledge, whenever I am in my studio I go along with my laptop and phone because I can work in my studio as well, researching new ideas online, and how to upgrade my skill and this has helped me to improve myself with my work.

    HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE HAD ENOUGH

    I am someone who always feels sleepy whenever I have spend too much time on my screen, especially in the afternoon, you will see me doze off, whenever this happens, it is a signal for me to stop and rest, if I do not leave my screen at that minute then I will never find it interesting anymore, so the best thing for me is to leave my screen then take a nap in other to be refreshed.

    HOW I REGULATE IT

    I can say I am not too addicted to screens because I know when to stop and rest, I know how to control it because frequent light from the screen can damage the eyes so I always discipline myself on that, I know how to put a stop to it when I know is getting too much and it will never affect my online jobs.

    TIPS ON HOW TO REGULATE IT

    I believe we should be disciplined in some areas, learn how to create time to rest when you feel exhausted, and never force yourself on our screens because it becomes boring at times, everything that has advantages also has disadvantages, and break down because of your addiction to your screen, I believe that is what I can say.
