Yes, going out with my mom, accompanying her, taking her to run errands is priceless for me. It is the most beautiful and gratifying thing I can feel, because parents as well as children are two types of love and we should always be there for them, with the parents because they are already old and the children because they are still small or because they are under our responsibility.
When my mother tells me to accompany her on her errands, they are hers, not mine, they can wait. And that I can't think about doing them quickly, in a hurry.
So when I go out with her, I prepare myself physically because I have to walk, I go with comfortable clothes, water, sometimes I take the umbrella and sometimes not. Mentally as a game heh heh, because with my mom we never know when we are going to finish doing her errands, but because of her age and health condition, we must go step by step.
On the way we talk, we laugh, we remember things from the past, but always with good optimism. So on this outing, we went to look for a budget for some lab tests, we met at the Jesus Soto Museum, a central place, since I am leaving my house and she is leaving hers.
We made several turns in some clinics that are nearby and so we walked, it turns out that sometimes by streets that never or that we had not done it for a long time, always holding on, and we are both seniors heh heh heh heh.
After the errands at the clinics, we had to go to the Paseo Orinoco, she wanted to buy some cholitas, because when we left in December they were not found or as there were many people, we did not look for more, but now if the center, trade was alone, plus there was a cloudy day.
When it comes to shopping with her it is an odyssey, as the mothers before to see in several places, compare prices, but with this that everything is dollarized, you have to take out the account. But the good thing is that she got the cholitas as she was looking for.
Then we went for some medicines in a pharmacy, it was fast, from there I took her to the bus stop, to take her on a bus or in a cart which is faster, but she went on a bus, then I waited for mine to return home.
So if you still have your parents, enjoy every moment with them, don't say no to them, we don't know when will be the last time to go out and meet them. Thank God I still have the time, I just make an agreement in case one day she tells me and I can't, we leave it for another day, but we don't want her to go out alone, because of her health and her age.
