Hoy me solidarizo con mis tres hijos, y conmigo misma, ante la triste noticia de la muerte de uno de los referentes más exitosos, en el mundo del Anime. Se trata del creador de manga, Akira Toriyama, el día 1 de marzo, a los 68 años.
Sin ahondar en detalles acerca de su vida, solo me referiré a los nexos que tenemos con el protagonista de la saga más famosa de todos los tiempos en el mundo del manga, Dragon Ball, agradeciendo a su creador por haber traído esta maravilla al mundo.
Todo comienza con un personaje de un niño con cola de mono a quien su abuelo Gohan, llamó Son Goku. Su historia transcurre con la búsqueda de las esferas del dragón. A partir de este inicio, continúa una maravillosa saga, en animación como, Dragon Ball Z, Dragón Ball GT, Dragon Ball Súper, Superdragón Ball Héroes, más las películas… Que por cierto, hemos disfrutado siempre en familia,
En fin, este ligero resumen, es el preámbulo para contarles que desde que mi hijo mayor tenía siete años, su serie favorita era, Dragón Ball. Así fue pasando el tiempo, entre el manga y sus juegos cada tarde. Todo giraba en torno a Dragón Ball, y yo, me sentaba a disfrutar con ellos, las aventuras de Goku, con sus amigos y la familia, las peleas y su famoso “Kame Hame Ha”, frase inventada por Akira, que significa en japonés, “Gran Ola de la Corriente Tortuga” nombre de la escuela donde entrenaba a Goku, el maestro Roshy.
En mi casa, en Venezuela, dejé muchos recuerdos de la saga, pero al llegar a la Argentina, no he dejado de asistir a los lugares, exposiciones, cines, etc., junto a mis hijos, que hoy son todos adultos, pero fanáticos de toda la creación del Sensey Akira Toriyama. Conservamos objetos y figuras emblemáticas que cada vez que las vemos nos sirven para recordar capítulos emocionantes.
En la sala de mi hogar, el protagonista es un cuadro donde está la casa del maestro Roshy, entrenando a Goku. En alguna ferias y exposiciones que frecuentemente se realizan en Buenos Aires, hemos comprado figuras como la de la amiga Lunch, el Dragón y las esferas, y como pueden ver, me encanta tomarme fotos con mis personajes favoritos.
No es fácil resumir, en un texto, todo lo interesante de la magnífica obra del genio creador de Dragón Ball. Lo lamentable, ha sido su pronta partida, porque aún estaba planeando nuevas historias. Además, el gran dolor que significa esta pérdida para quienes de una u otra manera hemos aprendido a amar el manga que un día llegó para quedarse. Este no es un anime cualquiera, contiene un gran mensaje, para quienes lo han visto y es que nunca debemos darnos por vencidos, hay que perseverar, prepararse y educarse, para poder lograr los propósitos de vida que nos planteamos. De hecho, mis hijos decidieron un día vivir del dibujo y todo a raíz de su afición por el manga. Lección aprendida, a través del juego.
Nos agobia el sentimiento de pesar, al ver los mensajes de quienes, de alguna manera, tuvieron contacto directo con Akira, los mensajes que colgaron en Twitter, movieron nuestra fibra sentimental. Ahora compartiré algunas reacciones 1 2, de amigos de Akira, al enterarse de la noticia el día de ayer en la madrugada, como: Eichiro Oda, creador de One Piece, Masashi Kishimoto de Naruto, Toyotaro, colaborador de Toriyama, en Dragon Ball Súper, Jackie Chan, actor, y Dros, nuestro escritor y youtuber favorito.
El recorrido por este manga para nosotros, continuará hasta la posteridad, pues no será fácil, olvidar una serie que nos regaló tanto.
Espero, que nuestro amigo Akira Toriyama, esté en el lugar donde pueda esconder las esferas del dragón, para que Goku, las logre alcanzar al final de los tiempos… “Descansa en Paz”

Today I sympathize with my three children, and myself, with the sad news of the death of one of the most successful referents in the world of Anime. We are talking about the manga creator, Akira Toriyama, on March 1st, at the age of 68.
Without delving into details about his life, I will only refer to the links we have with the protagonist of the most famous saga of all time in the world of manga, Dragon Ball, thanking its creator for having brought this wonder to the world.
It all begins with a character of a monkey-tailed boy who his grandfather, Gohan, named Son Goku. His story takes place with the search for the dragon spheres. From this beginning, a wonderful saga continues, in animation such as Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, Super Dragon Ball Heroes, plus the movies... Which, by the way, we have always enjoyed as a family,
Anyway, this brief summary is the preamble to tell you that since my oldest son was seven years old, his favorite series was Dragon Ball. That's how time went by, between the manga and his games every afternoon. Everything revolved around Dragon Ball, and I would sit and enjoy with them, the adventures of Goku, with his friends and family, the fights and his famous "Kame Hame Ha", a phrase invented by Akira, which means in Japanese. The name of the school where master Roshy trained Goku, "Great Wave of the Turtle Current".
At home, in Venezuela, I left many memories of the saga, but when I arrived in Argentina, I have not stopped going to places, exhibitions, cinemas, etc., with my children, who today are all adults, but fans. of all the creation of Akira Toriyama sensey. We keep emblematic objects and figures that every time we see them we remember exciting chapters.
In the living room of my home, the protagonist is a painting of the house of master Roshy, training Goku. In some fairs and exhibitions that frequently take place in Buenos Aires, we have bought figures such as the friend Lunch, the Dragon and the spheres, and as you can see, I love to take pictures with my favorite characters.
It is not easy to summarize, in a text, all the interesting things about the magnificent work of the genius creator of Dragon Ball. The regrettable thing was his early departure, because he was still planning new stories. In addition, the great pain that this loss means for those of us who in one way or another have learned to love the manga that one day came to stay.
This is not just any anime, it contains a great message for those who have seen it, and that is that we must never give up, we must persevere, prepare and educate ourselves, in order to achieve the purposes of life that we set out. In fact, my children decided one day to make a living from drawing, all because of their love for manga. Lesson learned, through play.
We are overwhelmed by the feeling of grief, seeing the messages from those who, in some way, had direct contact with Akira, the messages they posted on Twitter, moved our sentimental fiber. Now I will share some reactions 1 2, from friends of Akira, upon learning the news yesterday morning, such as: Eichiro Oda, creator of One Piece, Masashi Kishimoto of Naruto, Toyotaro, Toriyama's collaborator, in Dragon Ball Super, Jackie Chan, actor, and Dros, our favorite writer and youtuber.
The journey through this manga for us will continue until posterity, because it will not be easy to forget a series that gave us so much.
I hope that our friend Akira Toriyama is in the place where he can hide the dragon spheres, so that Goku can reach them at the end of time... "Rest in Peace".
