    hello everyone, you are back with me on this occasion I want to share a recipe for a vegan spicy and sour side dish for everyone, today it is raining in my area so it makes me want to eat something hearty, so I decided to make a demonstration of spicy and sour vegetables for the iftar menu. Later

    still the same edition, maybe in the next few weeks you will see that I will share my post about various kinds of processed yellow pumpkin, because my family likes ground pumpkin, so that makes me very enthusiastic about preparing various processed yellow pumpkin for my family

    Today I cooked spicy and sour sauce from young yellow pumpkin, here I didn't peel the young yellow pumpkin
    the skin, because pumpkin skin contains nutrients and fiber, so this is a good bonus. Apart from that, the skin of young pumpkin doesn't affect the taste of the soft pumpkin. This only applies to young pumpkin. Yes, if it's old, the skin is very hard so it affects the taste of the dish later.

    Ingredients for making spicy sour pumpkin sauce:

    200 grams of light yellow pumpkin
    3 starfruit
    3 cayenne peppers
    lime leaves to taste



    how to make :

    (1) The first step is to wash the pumpkin clean, rub the skin of the pumpkin until clean, then cut the pumpkin according to taste then wash it clean and set aside



    (2) then prepare 600ml of water, then add the yellow pumpkin and also add the starfruit and cayenne pepper, after the starfruit changes color and becomes soft remove it with the cayenne pepper too



    (3) after that grind the starfruit, cayenne pepper and a little 1 tsp of salt, until smooth, the function of starfruit here is to give a sweet and sour taste to the dish, if you don't have starfruit you can also replace it with green tomatoes.



    (4) then pour into the pan the pumpkin that is being cooked, then stir the pumpkin sauce well and add lime leaves as a natural aromatic, then cook until the pumpkin is cooked, about 15 minutes and don't forget to adjust the taste.
