Zingtober Word 21: Rhinoceros
I couldn't think of anything related to that word. My son was next to me playing Call Of Duty and suddenly the idea landed. A Rhino-inspired Skin for a Zing girl!
I have imagined the character more in the style that I am practicing in my last SP entries, this time: A Zing Warrior girl, covered with a strong and hard frame like the skin of the Rhinoceros. The complete costumes are beautiful, striking the feminine essence and in addition to that, perfect for battle.
Let's quickly see Drawing process:
I started with a quick sketch. Later I moved on to the outlining and cleaning phase, what took me the most time was to give the suit structure, as well as the details. As a reference, I used a Rhinoceros, and I tried to merge the creature's rough personality with a bit of metal. To work on the areas of shine and shadows, I used an airbrush in different shades of gray and white, to simulate the light that metals catch. The brushes I used are: Smooth round pen in various thicknesses, airbrush, blur. As for tools, I used the paint bucket, predetermined shapes as help, a downloadable material for the background and a Gaussian effect.
