It's a pleasure to share with all of you my weekend experience. This time my family and I went to spend a few days in the countryside of Rio de Janeiro, the place is called Sana, it is three hours from where I am, it is a very visited place in these times that we are in summer, there are rivers, with Cachoeiras (waterfalls), the landscape is very beautiful I fell in love with the scenery of the road, it reminded me a lot of my beautiful Venezuela.
We went with a neighbor friend who goes there on vacation with her baby. She told me wonderful things about the place, showed me some videos and photos of her camping trips in that area. So we prepared to spend three days, we talked to the owners of one of the many inns, we paid three weeks in advance, we prepared well, we took food, drinks, medicines, repellents, treats for the kids, everything ready to forget the routine for those days.
We paid two suite of the posada, we arrived there with a lot of excitement and we were received very well, the person in charge of the place is a person with a lot of charisma, very cheerful, he was never sad, he told us that we could cook there, and that they also sell food in restaurants near the place, we opted to make our own food.
The day we arrived there was a rainy weather, we prepared a delicious lunch, the land is very large ideal for children to play ball, then at night we walked through the town for the fairs they do there, we had a few beers, bought burgers for the kids and listened to good music, then when we returned we played cards (UNO), and then the children fell asleep and adults shared until 2 am.
The next day we woke up with our batteries well charged, with lots of spirit we had a good coffee, I tell you that the experience of drinking that coffee with the sound of the birds singing and the sound of the water running in the river is something unique, We went to the kitchen which is very rural we made breakfast, then we went to the river, the water was very cold but delicious we laughed a lot we all looked like children playing with water, after that we prepared steak, and to share everything with our children and friends we had a great time.
With summer also comes carnival, so in the afternoon there was a samba group from the village playing in the streets to liven up the atmosphere, and everyone came out of the places where they were staying to enjoy the show. Then in the evening other families arrived with tents to camp, we met each other amidst the joy of the cozy place and the best thing is that there were more children to play with our kids.
Yesterday our last day in the place we got up and went to the river again, then we made churrasco and shared one more time, everything was exciting, I loved the place, I loved those three days, if I have the opportunity I will go again and in that opportunity I want to experience camping. it must be something delicious. It was time to say goodbye and go back home to our routine, to our work, but with a very positive attitude, relaxed, happy with the world.
