What do you do when seemingly all the powerful people are against you? Some stand and fight in a valiant, but often losing effort, while others simply call it quits and admit certain actions are beyond their pay grade. I think we can all cite a few examples of this, and to many of us some challenges even take similar forms and actions.
It must be said that with the the crypto chain it has felt like we're fighting a losing battle sometimes. One thing any full adult quickly learns is how powerful government and the media is in shaping and controlling outcomes. Either one of them is a formidable opponent, but to now have two of them in seeming collaboration is a recipie for clear disaster looming. It'll be difficult for anything to be bombarded by these two elements and still maintain relevance.
Yet like the honey Badger the crypto space has simply refused to be bullied into submission. It has refused to go away quietly like many have hoped and instead has worn out its oppressors. I think even regulators are admitting that the space is unlikely to disappear anytime soon and have shifted their focus from wanting a rather extreme outcome of non existence, to trying to seize control of the potential that lies within. And that is really what this is all about.
The space still has enormous potential, and am not just talking about surface returns on investment. Rather, value creation has gone to another level. Some of it is currently being realized by the various projects on ground including our very own Hive. We are gradually having a scenario where users are spoiled for choice. How in the World can you hope to stifle such progress? I think we're going to see further unprecedented growth in the future and I'm here for it.
