This battle is a series of surprises. Fab Four is a rule of combat that is neither strong or weak. It simply limits the monsters you can use for that battle and may or may not help you depending on the strategy you go on the field.

My suggestion for when you have this rule of combat is to abuse the mana cap. Since you only can use up to 4 monsters for this battle, then using stronger monsters with high mana costs are better.

This was actually a close battle that, which I could've lost, if not for perfect timing of my abilities and targets for the attacks. It's an exciting battle between high level monsters that will give you thrill towards the end.

Helios Matriarch is a Rare summoner from the Chaos Legion Series.

Level 4 Rare summoners allow the use of:
Level 2 Legendary monsters;
Level 3 Epic monsters;
Level 4 Rare monsters;
Level 5 Common monsters.

Helios Matriarch is one of the weakest soulbound summoner for Rewards Chaos Legion. However, she gives you access to dragons and any elements available making her a good substitute in case your other Chaos Legion soulbounds have lower levels.

+1 Speed. [Stat Modifier] [Positive Status] All friendly monsters has their Speed increased by 1.

The extra Speed is usually weak but is good when you want to hit your opponents fast and hard. The higher the speed of your monsters, the earlier they can attack.

Conscript. [Support] Allow the use of one additional Gladiator this battle.

For this battle, this allowed me to use Chimney Wallstop, which is one of the strong gladiators from Fire Splinter.

Chaos Dragon is a moving fortress. His high mana cost is due to how strong his whole kit is. Unfortunately, despite having high health, speed and defensive abilities, he's still best to be placed at the back for you to abuse his Scattershot and Blast combo.

Abilities

At level 1, Flying is unlocked. [Defense] Non Flying monsters that attack this card has their maximum hit chance reduced by 25% during that attack.

Flying ability is a bit tricky. It's good and useful at certain rules of combat. It's a good bonus as well if you plan to place the monster at the last position as Sneak monsters are usually melee types. This increases the chance that your opponent's attack would miss.

At level 1, Scattershot is unlocked. [Target Modifier] The attack priority of this monster's attack is changed to "Random monster on the opponent's side."

In my opinion, one of the weakest abilities in the game except if certain conditions were cleared. Making your monster's attacks at random means your opponents that should be dead can still attack and deal damage just because your monster decided to target another monster instead of that near-dead monster.

At level 2, Blast is unlocked. [Damage] When this monster attacks, monsters beside the target gets half of the damage. The nature of the damage is based on the attacking monster's attack type.

Blast ability is one of the conditions that make Scattershot strong. If your monster with Blast attacks the opponent's middle section, the front and back of that target receives Blast damage, allowing you to hit 3 monsters at a time. This is more powerful when your monster has magic damage since the Blast damage will have magic damage as its type as well.

At level 3, Blind is unlocked. [Stat Modifier] [Negative Status] As long as this monster is alive, all opponent monsters get Blinded status. Blinded monsters have reduced max hit chance of 15%.

Blind is a strong ability as it affects the entire opponent's lineup. Not only that, it affects the opponent's max hit chance meaning even if you have both speed, your opponent can only have 85% chance of hitting you while you have 100% of hitting them.

Helios Matriarch: I used Helios Matriarch since she's a level 4 that can unlock the potential of Chaos Dragon's Scattershot and Blast combo.

1. Immolation: I recently discovered him and I would say that he's pretty tricky to use. He has Shield ability that makes him a good tank but also has Scavenger ability which makes you feel you should save him at the back. Scavenger gains extra health each time a monster from each side dies. This means, the longer this monster is alive, the higher th possible bonus for the Scavenger ability will be.
2. Chimney Wallstop: With my current pool of cards, he's one of the best that I can use for Fire Splinters. You can change him though if you want and is not required for this lineup.
3. Chaos Dragon: My forgotten best card. Due to the recent Rebellion cards and Gladiators, I forgot how strong this card is as long as you have good tanks to delay the battle until Chaos Dragon eliminates all the monsters at the back.
4. Doctor Blight: Doctor Blight is a strong monster at level 2. He gains Poison ability which is good for games where you want to make the games last longer.

ᗪIᗪ YOᑌᖇ ᔕTᖇᗩTEGY ᗯOᖇKEᗪ?

. I was not expecting the opponent to use high damage attacks which caught me completely offguard. However, fortunately, my Immolation had Shield ability that halved their damage allowing my monsters to buy time to lower their health in order to win.

The biggest problem I have with my opponent's team is Grum Flameblade. The combination of Bloodlust and Void Armor abilities means he would be able to delay my damage to his health despite me having magic damage.

I know that I would win this game when Doctor Blight was able to land a Poison status to Grum Flameblade. Poison damage is what I call true damage type. Its damage cannot be decreased by any abilities and will always affect the opponent's health despite what abilities they have.

None. I can argue that you can change Chimney Wallstop to other monsters with 10 mana but I think he's still the best in this fight. The other monsters are pretty stable and I don't think changing them would give me any benefits.

𝑫𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆

Helios Matriarch and Chaos Dragon in Fab Four Rules of Combat

? 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒐𝒓 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒕?

Yes. Even though Helios Matriarch is a weak Summoner based on her abilities, she's still one of my most favorite because not only I got her for free, I got two gold ones before allowing me to merge them to a level 4. Gold cards give you an extra reward percentage when you win. Being a dragon summoner as well, she gives me access to all powerful dragon cards like Chaos Dragon.

Chaos Dragon, on the other hand is one of my most favorite dragon cards out there. I recently just realized that I can now play a level 2 Chaos Dragon in Bronze since Splinterlands removed the limits. Chaos Dragon explodes in damage and strength starting level 2 once you unlock his Blast ability, which is strong when combined with Scattershot just like what happened in this battle.
