Another different day lined up. Birthday party for my wife's grandson. Was held at a bowls club not far from where he lives. Big open space below the bowls greens - plenty of space for the kids to run around
Hard to believe that two years has whizzed by. Ollie loves cars

He loves his ouma (my wife). Happy with me too - we played a bunch of games with bowling balls.
There was cake and cup cakes and cookies all baked and decorated by Ollie's mum. Nice party. Nice to have a beer in the bowls club after with the other granny as a wind down.
Did have enough time to go for a walk at home - went down the hill to walk one block. Bottlebrush flower in fab light - a native from WA

Not noticed this house before - a bit of old ramshackle - always had cars in front. Noticed after there were a few mailboxes
Walked up the steep hill of Essex Street. The new builds down the bottom are now complete - one for sale says show piece. It is if you like fake Goorgian style
Next one up the hill is much the same
And then back to the old style. What is common - huge houses and chose to retain the big front yards. Hard to know what went on behind - going to guess the new ones extend back to the back fence leaving just enough space for a swimming pool. And there will be 3 generations living there
Got the steps done. Leftovers for dinner as the party food was plenty.
And tomorrow we have another party - for my wife's birthday next week
