A Job Not Worth Diving Into!

    Well Hello There Fellow Hivers!

    Not The Ordinary?

Well at-least that is how I feel at the moment, jobs such as these want to make me puke up a bunch, seriously.

Before I start off I do want to say that this is likely going to be one major rant but I'll try not to lean towards ranting and rather towards confusion, which is exactly what this is making me feel!

It's terrible really! Well what can this be? Heck!

Well that right there! I know the photo is a little blurred but I do quite like the look of it, honestly I don't know why the camera does it, but more than often it ends up looking good!

We Knew It, Right Then And There.

It's almost like people think we don't know what we're doing, perhaps we don't...

This guy brought in his Toyota Rush because of a transmission problem with his reverse but the the oil we drained well that was below the mark of what it needed to be, very much below...

Okay so his transmission is almost buggered, it burnt up basically.

So he got one of from the scrapyards... and let me tell you a story!

    It's Fair.

The transmission he sent us is in fairly good condition.. fairly and that is stretching the thin line to the max out there!

It doesn't have the smell of burning oil inside of it, BUT but it does look like it might have gotten a slight bit of water, a slight! I'll show you in the first photo after this one.

Albeit, it might be in a worse condition... The reason is obvious!

Only for the fact that it has been worked on before.. Yeah that's a hard pill too swallow... but more so there is no working with care on this job...

    Barely Noticeable!

Well yeah, I did say only slightly but the signs are there! Take a look at the magnet, even the magnet is broken to bits!

The worst part might be the fact that they installed the metal gasket with some silicone sealer, that shit is not necessary, no matter who says what!!

It is a little manky though!

    Another Mank Spot!

Well I sure am glad that this is not my transmission being fitted, this is whack stuff! Whack! It just gets worse the deeper I dive!

Hectic stuff, anyways! This guy has been rubbing us up wrong the entire time and it's starting to work on Bossman's nerves because in the first place we don't normally do this like this, we don't fit them scrapyard's because people come back to us when they end up breaking!

Yeah we don't want none of that!

Pointing Out A Few Other Stuff!

For some weird reason the breather of the transmission has wire twisted around it... not that it would do much breathing when underwater right...

Look at the oil sump pan that was gasket sealed with silicone... Hectic and cringe to watch! Besides that notice the discoloration on the casing itself? It has seen a lot of dirt roads!

The park neutral sensor was unbolted and it might have broken to bits on the inside of all the turning and stuff.

    Battering Marks!

    Now that is hectic!

Can't get the pump removed so we decide on bashing it out in the opposite direction! Heck guys!

I wonder what they were thinking doingthis!?!?!?!
Underneath that is certainly a delicate part, okay not so delicate but still!

Take note this is not a how to guide, merely myself talking about the work I do and my thoughts around certain things.
